I bought this for my fiancé and he absolutely loved it! The board is really well made and the pieces have a small price of felt to aid with sliding on the board! There is chess and checker pieces, and I would definitely recommend! The game instructions were slightly different than the original rules but that can easily be over looked
It's a nice size for travel in the family car sets up easy and nice store away

My sure you look at the measurements before buying it is very small thought it was larger than what I received.
The wood is cheap quality. The board is. Wet small. We expected better quality for such a price!
This item was a total disaster. When it was removed from the box the bottom was loose. On examination the entire set began coming apart and ended up in five pieces. The chess box had never been glued properly. It was returned.
Box was unevenly glued, rough edges almost like a splinter. Top had discoloration (glue stains?) and there was a white blotch that could not be removed. The checker pieces had two chipped. Would not give this to a child.
