This works terrific for my Traeger Bronson! No longer do I have to worry about loose metal bristles working their way into my food, a brush wearing out, or wearing down the grill grate itself. This scrape fits the bill in every way!
Cleans grill well so far and no fear of metal or wire getting into my food on the grill....
I bought this scraper for my husband for Father's Day. He loves it and uses it every time he uses his Traeger. He likes how easy it is to use how quickly and well it cleans. The only thing I didn't like was how long it took to arrive. But the actual product is wonderful!
Works very well when pellet grill is nice & hot scraping off buildup between slats, with the grooves built in the wooden scraper. A little bit small in size but does the job well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Cleans the grill enough to get another piece of meat on, however its not a deep clean by any means. If you're literally moving meet around or throwing something else on, great, but that's all. Not too expensive and I do use it, but not 5 stars because it's not a "must have."
Does a decent job. Doesn't cover the edges very well.
It's ok. It will get the soft stuff pretty well. I like that it handles many grill spokes at a time which cuts down on the time spent. For tougher food, you'll still need a metal grill cleaning accessory to scrape the hard or burnt-on food.
Grooves fit the grates perfectly, but doesn't remove the buildup quite as well.
I have an Ironwood and the grills are smaller than the notches on the wood scraper. They really only get the top but don't get the sides at all.
Great Handle, but the scrapper doesn't match the grill runs in size or spacing, so it remains difficult to clean stuck on meat and vegetable oil and char… maybe it will eventually cook off.
