the perfect steamer for my 3 and 4 quart sauce pans. it has given me much more flexibility.
The steamer is great, but beware that it doesn't fit on the 2 qt. saucepan, which is too bad because the 3 qt. saucepan is pretty big. I don't have the 4 qt. saucepan but I can't imagine why you'd need such a large saucepan just to boil water.
I purchased the 14 piece pot set. The pots and fry pans cook food evenly and the clean up is fantastic. The directions say the set is dishwasher safe but I hand washed. The steamer is fantastic. Steamed my veggies to perfection. Love Love this product. I'm telling all my friends and family.
Fits nice and tight in sauce - sturdy feel - received very quickly
Great quality pasta insert, it's exactly what I wanted.
This steamer is made for the Prima line. It doesn't quite fit all the way into the 4 qt tri ply clad saucepan. It kind of wobbles around on the top of the saucepan. It does happen to fit another brand of pan that I have so it is going to work out great for me. The larger steamer does fit into the 5 qt tri ply clad Dutch oven or 8 qt pot, snugly but it fits.
