We were very pleased with this product and even more pleased that it actually came the very day after I ordered it! Even though we couldn't find this Transformer in our local Wal-Mart, we were able to find it online easily.
I ordered this online for my grandson because he had seen it online and picked it out from all the other choices. When it arrived he was so excited and best of all, at 5 years old it was easy for him to transform. It is now his favorite Transformer and in my opinion the best one on the market. He carries it everywhere!
My 4 year old son kept seeing the commericals for this and had been asking for weeks. Walmart had the low price and so we ordered it online. He loves it. He likes that they are twin brothers so they can defeat the bad guys. After a few days (and showing him how to do it) he is now able to do it himself. The only issue is that the knee covers fall off and they are hard to get back on (even for Dad which can get a little frustrating). Overall a good toy for the price.
My son has been bugging me to buy this transformer for him and now that he has it he loves it. He can play with it all day and still want to take it with him to bed at night. It has held up to this abuse for weeks now.
I purchased this toy for my son's 8th birthday. He loves to play with it and I love how he can create a lot of different things with it. He can make it into 4 different things so he's not as likely to get bored as compared to other toys.
Awesome, my son loved it. Two robot to two jet to one robot. It also comes with a short comic story of how the twins became Safeguard. Very easy to figure out how to transform and combine. The hip guard does come off very easy. Gets a little annoying having to put it back on every time my son bumps it off. Overall great toy and a very hard to find product.
I got this for my son for his 8th birthday. He was so excited when he got it. He loves it. It's been two months and he still plays with it... which is a long time in little kid time.
My son requested and received this transformer for his 8th birthday. He was thrilled (although they were a little smaller than I anticipated). They were almost the perfect amount of difficulty for him. He was frustrated when things wouldn't move as smoothly as he would like (I hate when the new plastic sticks) but he soon had things moving and showed me ALL of the possibilities: two robots, two jets, on big jet together, one big guy together, etc. If your kids are into transformers, the additional possibilities of this model make it a worth the money.
My son loves this Transformer and it is a great buy because it comes with 2 of them that can combine to form one bigger robot. However, I have found that all of the newer Transfomers fall apart so easily. On the first day, with me helping to gently transform it (because we have 3 other ones that fall apart), we still had both of the heads and 2 other misc. pieces fall off. My son is 5 and has no problem transforming them other than pieces falling off. Very disappointing but we've just gotten use to this with all the others as well.
