I am reviewing this product for bzzagent who sent it to me for free...I gave this to my 9 y/o twin boys and they were so excited! They love to build things and batttle and rebuild so this was perfect! It had directions to build Mega Tron or Optimus Prime, or you could build your own bot. With the extra guns and swords and stuff the ideas were endless! My 3 y/o little girl even got into the action, supervised because of small parts, and had a blast! Add the other sets to this one and the possibilities are enless!
He opened three gifts at Grammies and that is the only one he would not let go. He is four so this will be a quality time project with grandma, and paw paw on the floor with a bowl of popcorn. Ordering was very easy. Arrived two days after ordering so right on time for Christmas.
This was a Christmas gift for my son and he really enjoyed it.
My grandson loved these transformers and was thrilled to have a storage case for each character. He was excited that the parts would not get mixed up. This was a gift for my grandson.
not only for boys. the girls enjoyed them as well.
I received this item free for review. Set consists of 2 boxes which are color coded with instructions and enough parts to assemble 2 transfromers. There are also some weapons and armor, that can be changed. My 7 year old and his friend took almost 2 hours to assemble transformers, each instruction book is more than 20 steps. They could not transform them, however, and next day their older sisters had to help and reassemble to get them transformed. However, after a few hours of play parts started to fall out of them, requiring reassembly, after which they again would not transform and needed to be fixed by adult. This happens, since with so many parts toys resemble Lego, which you cant really play with lego creations. We will stick with original transformers for now. Its a good idea and a great toy, for someone who has a patient kid, who generally loves lego and can handle constant reassebling toys independently.
My boys (5 and 7) LOVED playing with them. Some of the pieces are difficult to put or snap in place. I had to assist. It provided hours of fun, putting them together then playing with them when finished. What we like about them is that they stay together for play after constructed. They don't fall apart on you!
My boys like to play with Transformers, so I thought this would be fun for them. But, my boys are 3 and 6. This was hard for them to put together. It's for kids aged 7 and up. I think older kids would be okay with it. My 6-year-old gave up after the first page, so I ended up putting Optimus Prime and Megatron together for him. Even for me, it was somewhat difficult. Sometimes, it was hard to figure out which piece they were referring to and where to put it. But, overall it didn't take too long to put them together. Transforming them to cars, though, was another story. Regular Transformers are a little more easy to transform. These, I had to sit down with the manual and go step by step. Sometimes, parts fell off as I was trying to transform them. Not cool, if your kids are playing and want to quickly transform from car to robot and back again. My kids had fun with them, though. They still need help transforming them and sometimes we have to go back to the manual to make sure we're putting them back together correctly. I think the next time they fall apart, I'll just let them make their own. That's probably where the fun will be. Having the kids build their own robots. NOTE: I received a set for free from BzzAgent to facilitate this review, but my opinions are my own.
We got these toys free to try out from a web company, and they are AWESOME! The bots are fairly easy to put together and even easier to transform. The accompanying app makes dreaming up new transformers easy and fun! My 7 and 9 year olds LOVE the system and we will be buying MANY more kits to add to our collection.
After about 2 days of playing with these, just moving the parts to "transform", a couple of the plastic parts broke. It wasn't from rough play, it was just taking them apart and putting them together, one of the small parts for the arm broke. Really cool concept, just would like for some of the working joints to be made a little stronger. Would have been great if not for weak parts on some of the moving parts at the joints. Some of the weakest parts seem to be at crucial joints that get a lot of moving back and forth in order to transform.
