It's a very nice toy and can't wait to get more.
Let me start with dispelling the complaints of Soundwaves alt mode. It is actually very accurate to the old Marvel comic crossover with GI Joe. He never transformed in the movie so the designers had the freedom to create perfect robot modes and design the transformation and alt mode to match. I dont know if it was an accident or someone really knew the character but that hovercraft mode had been around since the 80's. To see it used in this way was surprising and a great throwback. Core Ravage works perfectly and the included missle was a nice touch. Now if we can only get Shockwave!
The moment I saw this, I had to grab it off the shelf! My sons love this figure!
Got my delivery early✔️ Soundwave has great details. I keep him on my desk at work like a nerd 🤣👍🏽
this figure is awesome to have in your collection.
It was for my Grandson's birthday! He absolutely loved it! :)
My son loved his new transformer. It works well.
Robot mode is spectacular, but the vehicle mode is a bit disappointing. I don't hate it, but it could have been better. The transformation is easy and relatively smooth. Getting the legs into and out of vehicle mode position is kinda fiddly. Still recommend this to any fan. It's even simple enough and sturdy enough for smaller children. Only complaint is that it doesn't come with a Ravage by default, but there is a Ravage toy available in the Studio Series line that completes this figure.
The detail on this Soundwave compared to the other one is phenomenal!!! The only downside is there are no tapes with it. So no Rumble, Laser Beak, or Ravage. That's why I only gave it 4 stars.
It's a great representation of what the movie was going for, however the articulation is somewhat hindered without much reason for a transformation that isn't even seen, most of the cybertronian figures we got for bumble bee seem to have that issue. Which I feel shouldn't be the case, I know sacrifices should be made but it just feels, rushed almost, especially at the waist, having one giant flap that moves up feels cheap, and the arms feel a tad bit short, despite all of that, it is a decent enough figure to have along side the ss movie decepticons, I would recommend, but only for what it stands for as a g1 inspired movie soundwave, I can't in good conscience value it as a figure with good articulation, and a good alternate mode
