Excellent!! The tree bag is very well made and will many many years. It was easy to attach the bag to the tree your tree stand which was heavy duty. I am so glad the lady at Lowe’s told me to contact TreeKeeper Bags.
I have used tree storage bags with and without wheels and there is no comparison. This bag (I also bought the wheeled stand) is so great ... I bought three of them! The size was as advertised (so many other brands end up being too small), covering the tree does take two people but isn't hard, although one tall person helps. Bag and zippers are well constructed and feel strong. And I love how I can hide the bag under the tree skirt when the tree is displayed. My tree skirts look so full and pretty now. Love this product!
We live in a condo, and storage is at a premium. We used to haul our tree up from our basement where we had wrapped it in a blanket and tied a rope around it to make it smaller in diameter to fit through doorways and up the steps. With our new Treekeeper Bag with wheeled stand, we are able to pack it up, and it fits easily through doorways, and now stands in the back corner of our garage, fully protected.
I was thrilled to find this product. I purchased the rolling tree stand also. It took a few minutes to get everything assembled but it will be so easy to cover and store. It is very heavy duty and extremely well-made. I have been telling everyone about this product!
This is, by far, the best product to store a tree. I was concerned about buying it because many of the reviews stated it took two people (and even a third would be helpful) to get the bag up the tree. Being single I would have to do it by myself. But, I had no trouble at all doing it alone. I was also concerned because I have a flocked tree and worried it would damage the flocking. But, after removing the bag to set the tree up again, I was pleased to discover that the tree had lost only a minimal amount of its flocking. I would highly recommend this storage choice for your Christmas tree. I don't have to separate the pieces of the tree for storage -- it is stored all assembled. I also added my own lights, so now I don't have to remove them to disassemble the tree for storage. The tree is stored all assembled with lights for next Christmas. What a wonderful time saver!
It came very quickly and was exactly what I wanted
So far, so good, got the tree in the bag with a little effort from the two of us. The product is shown with their stand, if you want the straps on the bottom to tie down you might want to pick up their stand. My tree is very heavy and has equally heavy solid base. It lifted the branches nicely and the bag cinched up snuggly. With the help of a hand truck I rolled it into the corner of the garage
I haven't actually used it yet as my tree was already up. It is just what I was looking for and I'm sure it will be perfect. I did end up ordering a tree stand with wheels to make it that much easier to maneuver. I initially thought it came with the wheeled stand but it does not
The instructions that come with the bag are not written well and led to significant damage to our wood floors. They divide the steps between ‘thin pointed’, ‘pointed’ and ‘flat’ trunks. We have a thin pointed trunk and followed the instructions to use the disk. However we learned the hard way, our trunk was even smaller than the disk allowed for and the point of the tree slipped through and scratched our brand new floors. Had the instructions stated “measure the diameter of your pointed trunk” and/or “for pointed trunks with a diameter smaller than 1.25, use the adjustment cup” we would have realized that it’s possible our pointed trunk was too small. Our floors were brand new and we’re devastated. I can’t see any advantage to the disks and think the instructions should have all trunks use the cup. That said the size was perfect for our slender 7’ tree. The wheels roll easily and the compartments to hide the tree bag when in use look great. I recommend this product but only if you use the adjustment cup.
The instructions are really just pictures. That is generally ok, but a few words would help to understand what is required to be successful. I tried to watch the video linked to my specific product on the Treekeeper website, but it was "unavailable." Darn. What the pictures don't mention at all is the locking wheel feature. I was accomplishing the assembly on a carpeted floor. At some point, I realized the wheel "lock" has a tab that is actually lower than the wheels. By the time I saw this, there were two snags on my carpet - one of which is significant. The locks would have scratched my hardwood floor also. The locks are hard to operate and get in the right position. Maybe mine are just sticky. Once the wheel locks are correct, it is easy to roll. The bag itself is well made and works as described. I am looking forward to just rolling this tree out of the closet at Christmas and saving the multiple trips upstairs. I bought this product to make my life easier. That didn't happen at the first assembly and I'll hopefully reap those benefits in the future. I would buy this product again but will pay close attention to the wheel locks.
