This worked for my daughter going to camp. She does have very oily hair if she does not wash it every day. It is travel size...so perfect for a purse or packing for camp. She had enough for 3 uses. I saw it with one of her uses. It does get rid of the oily look. Yes, it does make the hair feel less silky and a bit rougher...but you cannot tell unless you touch it. My daughter does have blonde hair. But I didn't notice any flakes from the spray. This was great for someone who couldn't wash her hair every day. A real shampoo is the way to go, but if you can't....this will be of some help.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had heard good things about this product and was excited to try it as I have fine hair that tends to get oily at the end of the day, but I could not even tell that I had used it. My hair still looked greasy and flat.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I found this stuff to be tacky and leaves a horrible residue. I have medium darker hair, amd it just made my colour fade and look old. Will not buy again.
This dry shampoo makes my hair look clean, but it feels terrible... It took a ton of product just to soak up the oils in my hair, but even after brushing with a fine tooth comb, my hair had this powder+grease feeling... I suppose it makes sense as that is exactly what it was, but it felt disgusting... I couldn't wear my hair down with it because it was like the roots had been starched and they hung weird. Also, two minutes after brushing my hair, I couldn't get a brush through it already. I don't know if all dry shampoos are this awful, but I will never try this one again...
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I use dry shampoo about once a week and am not a stranger to sprays and powders, but was disspointed with this brand. My hair didn't look worse after, but it certainly was not better. The wet spray does not seem to have much of an absorbent quality which I really look for in a dry shampoo! The smell was pleasant and the price is right, but for this price or a little bit more you can get many much better products.
I've never used a dry shampoo before, but if this is how they all are then I won't be using them anymore. The clay/powder in the spray is not fine and it makes my blonde hair look like a powdered wig (despite shaking the bottle between sprays and before use); definitely not a good product for people with dark hair. It also doesn't brush out easily, so I had to use a towel to remove the powder completely. The spray makes my hair feel stiff, like I've just used hairspray. Like the previous reviewer, I have a hard time running a brush through my hair after using the product. Furthermore, I don't feel like it removes much oil from my hair, but maybe that is because I don't use enough because I don't want to walk around with white hair . . .
