I occasionally get heartburn and tums is the only thing that helps. The peppermint flavor is the best because it's soothing and refreshing. Be honest... when you have heartburn you don't want fruit smoothie tums, you want the cooling effect of peppermint. It gets the job done and doesn't taste horrible. I would recommend this product.
It seems that around here most of the stores have stopped carrying the regular strength TUMS. I was very happy when I seen that I could buy them from Walmart for less than $4 a bottle. I ordered as many as it would let me, which was 12. Shipping took a little longer than expected or estimated by the website. The product actually didn't ship until the expected arrival date. Other than that, I couldn't be happier. Great value. Thanks for making them available.
Good service
I have used Tums Regular Peppermint for many years and like it! What I am disappointed in though, is that Wal-Mart does not stock this item in the store. I have watched for several months now and the allocated space on the shelf remains empty. Not only is this inconvenient having to order the product, but you have to pay shipping as well. Wal-Mart, please stock your shelves!
Until it was messed with by gsk it was perfectly fine made with corn starch, but they had to the ingredients, cellulose gross!!

My fiancé swears by Tums. I prefer Gavascon because it is more effective and faster acting. But occasionally, my fiancé is the only one that is prepared and he has Tums on him. They do help quell my heartburn (on the rare occasion that I get heartburn), but I only gave them four stars because I think Gavascon works even better than Tums.
Honestly, we use these all the time at my house for heartburn. I keep a bottle in my bedside table and use them about once a month. My husband uses them more often. I mostly ordered these because I needed a slightly higher total to qualify for free shipping. I know they'll be used. This was a good stock-up opportunity.
Took these when I was pregnant to help with heartburn. They did help but I hate the texture. They are safe during pregnancy and other antacids aren't so they are a win in that category. I'd recommend them as a remedy for pregnancy heartburn, but they weren't a miracle cure.
I'm not really big on chewable anything and it's been quite some time since I've used these because my diet has prevented a lot of the heartburn I used to deal with but I always preferred the mint flavor over the fruity ones because it tasted less powdery to me and more just like a mint!
