Did the job they needed to do
I needed some tacks for hanging some posters in my extra bedroom for when my sons come up to visit so I was already at Wal- Mart so I picked up a pack and found them to be very sturdy tacks that pushed into walls that are pretty hard. Very pleased and plan on buying more as needed.
I was beginning to think, perhaps it was me due to a physical limitation. Thanks to another consumer that has experienced the same results. I too have been amazed to have thumbtacks that are extremely difficult to penetrate the surface. I have had several thumbtacks bend and become unusable.and virtually useless. The thumbtacks are very cheap and of very poor quality.
I have never in my life had to give any thought to whether the thumb tack would go into the wall! These, you do. They might work one or two times, after that they bend and break! Ridiculous!
They bend too easily. I never used them for the job I purchased them for.
