Well, what can I say? This product is less than $3, and can entertain not just small birds, but even medium cockatoos! I have a rose breasted cockatoo and she absolutely loves this toy. What is nice is she can destroy it, which is what birds are supposed to do with their toys, and the process for her takes a day or two. This keeps her busy wen I am not able to play with her, but also does not put a dent in my bank account! Most bird toys can easily sell for $15 a piece, but spending that much every 2 days is just way too much in this tough economic time. These toys are great because for the price, she can destroy them at any rate she wants and I can afford to keep buying more. The wood is good for her beak to chew on, and it is made of safe materials she cannot hurt herself with. I highly recommend this product. If you have a bird that plucks their feathers, or screams when bored, get this product! Your bird will be far to busy to naughty or pluck, and it only costs $2 and change per toy. I buy as many as they stock at my store when I can and keep them in the closet, giving my bird one at a time. She loves them and it's always fun watching her have at them. She used to pluck the feathers on her tummy, and since she has had these toys to occupy herself with, she has completely stopped plucking and her feathers have all grown back. This is a great item all around. Birds can be needy and we cannot always give them the attention they want. These toys help give them something to do to pass the time till we can play with them. They also are rather attractive and just look nice in the cage. This toy will be great for any size bird, and my big cockatoo loves it. Great size for small birds, but even amazons and cockatoos can enjoy them. With the price so cheap, you have to ask yourself why spend $15 or more on another bird toy ever again?!!!
We started buying this toy a year ago when our Greencheek conure was born. We handfed her, and this quickly became her favorite toy! She's always made good use of it. We took in a Sun conure last Summer, and the poor thing has never had a toy in her life. We had tried many toys in her cage and play area, but she wouldn't go anywhere near them (out of fear). When we put this one in with her, she was leery for a minute, and then made VERY good use of it! It's her favorite toy now, and we stock up with many of them each time we head to Wal-Mart. Our Sun conure goes through them within the first 20 minutes that they're in her cage.......and when a bird goes through their toys like that, it just goes to show how much they love them, and they're being put to good use! (She chews through the ducky with a quickness!) I HIGHLY recommend this toy for your birds. I think it's the very best one we've gotten for our birds from Wally World so far! And at less than $3? Yeah. It's a VERY good deal!
