This is a great high quality stand! In the advertisement video there was another part that had buttons at the bottom of the ipad and that is not part of it I suppose.
This is a quality product as you would expect from 12South. Solid, stable, well-thought out, working tolerances tight and smooth. Perfect for my iPad 11" M1.
This thing is great. I really like it for its features and stability. It is exactly what I was wanting to set my iPad at eye-level. However, when it is attached horizontally, I have not figured out a way to get it to stop spinning, no matter how hard I tighten it. My assumption is that I am using it in a way that it was not exactly designed for, so that's on me. I do really like it, though!
Built like a tank and super sturdy. I like the idea of having it on the stand to move it around. I put away the extra attachment to hook it up on a cabinet or desk for future use if needed.
I bought my first hover bar when they came out and it has been indispensable for tele-health appointments, and telework. Though since my telework desk is small, the base takes up too much usable space, so i solved that problem by using the clamp on hoverbar #2. I love having my ipad close enough that it works as a second screen while im working - you know for music, online shopping, general mischief and sometimes a bit of job related stuff, but i try and keep that work stuff to a minimum 🤫. I mean, those cheapskates didnt pay for my ipad, now did they? 😛

Absolutely wonderful build quality is top notch ,functionality is 100% this thing hits on all the high notes, it allows for creativity and functionality that the much more expensive Magic Keyboard does not. 12 South provides high-quality, high aesthetic, and high functionality, I would recommend these products anyone
I now own two of these because they are the best iPad stands out there. One for work and one for the office. I use the continuity feature to use my iPads as a second monitor / iOS apps. They work great either mounted to your desk or with the stand. I can't recommend these enough.
This appears to be a good product, but my unit was all scratched up and a bit dusty. The cardboard tray looked like it had been been mangled a bit, and the base plate and joint cover were noticeably scratched. This doesn't affect the functionality, which is simple and effective. I did receive a sealed box.
I really like the concept and I can "make it work" for an iPad Pro 12.9". I cannot charge my pencil when using the stand in the way I originally planned, from the product description. The only mode where the stand works is in Portrait mode with the clamps at the bottom . The iPad 12.9" is too wide to mount in Landscape mode. Because of this, I had to purchase an adapter to turn the connector 90 degrees otherwise there was too much strain on the cable and the iPad rests on the table.
