I just design and had built custom closets. Having made a significant investment, I needed the perfect step stool to compliment the solid wood quality material. And after buying and returning others, this was the best value and perfect height to reach my 8 foot cabinets doors. The stain is rich looking and a true mahogany color.
This step stool looks great in my kitchen and helps me and my teens reach the high shelves. It is very sturdy. Not lightweight, so I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for something lightweight.
sturdy, steady step stool, with a useful handrail. perfect for climbing in and out of plush bed (12" mattress, 9" foundation, 12" platform: total 33" bed height). really helps an average height senior citizen climb in and out of a tall bed more securely and safely, when her legs do not reach the floor otherwise. and the price was very reasonable, for a wooden stool that is presentable for viewing out in a bedroom.
This is a very sturdy two step ladder. It is also very nice looking. It is a little hard to close, but I think with time it will loosen up. Glad I got it and the price was right.
My mother bought this so my daughter could help me in the kitchen. We love it, it is made of wood, very sturdy but still easy to fold up and put away. She got it in white, to match the rest of the kitchen, so it looks nice as well as being functional. Though it was for my daughter, I have used it too.
I love this. Not only is it super helpful to have to reach the top shelves in my closet, but it's also really nice looking. I don't feel like I have to keep it stored in a closet to hide it. I'm so happy I got it. The only thing I don't love about it is the latch that folds it up but even that isn't too bad. This thing is so good we're going to get another one!
Having watched my grandchildren give this stool the greatest of stress tests for over four years, I knew exactly the sturdy, reliable stool this senior lady needed to reach high without concern of slipping or wobbling. Look no further! This is without a doubt the best and a great price.

The only issue I have with the step ladder is that you can't lock it up when you fold it, unless I'm missing something. All-around good design and pretty sturdy.
I bought this because I needed a step stool but I wanted one that would look pretty in the kitchen. This one DOES look pretty but it is quite impractical. First of all it is HEAVY and cumbersome to move around. It is difficult to open and close. It is challenging to use. Althought the steps are plenty wide, they over hang each other so much that you can barely put your foot on it and the bar across the top comes across your shins preventing your feet from getting completely on the top step as well. The stool is not very tall and I often end up grabbing a chair or a bar stool anyway. This step stool has now been repurposed as a two tier plant stand.
