I previously owned a Timex Two-Tone Stainless-Steel Expansion Band Watch which lasted much longer than other, more expensive watches that I've purchased. When it stopped running a few months ago, the only watch I would even consider buying was the exact same watch. I would recommend this watch to anyone who wants a dependable, fair-priced watch that can be used for everyday use or for dress-wear.
My Mom has an 8 inch wrist and this watch, while pretty for a stretch banded watch, was quite snug, tighter than I'd have wanted to wear. However, she said it was fine and would prob stretch out more in time. I don't recall if it had battery. A gift for women about 60 or older. Now that I think about it, it must have had a battery bc she wore it to church the next morning, so it must have had a battery.
It works great. If you are a first time buyer of an Timex watch in the past 5 years you need to know that you can not replace the battery in them without a press. I already had one just like this one that I purchased around 5 years ago. I also have 2 other ones purchased at the same time (Timex but not the same style). The little mall places that you could get to change them have shut down where I live. Even Walmart (I never had a battery replaced there for mine) I was told (by several people) will not install the batteries anymore unless the watch was purchased at there store. This one is bought from Walmart and I love it just as my other ones. I also bought an press on Amazon to replace the batteries in watches now. I have not received it yet. It is a really good watch.

This is a very nice ladies watch. It is small and simply elegant, without being too fancy. This is the second watch of this model for my wife - the first lasted many years.
