Es un excelente producto que uniforma adecuadamente.
Used to refinish my old furniture and it was so easy to apply and turned out stunning! Would highly recommend!
I've been using the mocha color to build and refurbish wood products around our home to match our floors and favorite antiques- this stuff is great! Thicker than most stains, so I love that it doesn't fling drops everywhere when covering less-porous surfaces; I just have to wipe a few times until I get the right look. I usually pour it into a splash of mineral spirits for raw woods and that applies quickly and easily. Prefer old white t-shirts or rags to paper towels or shop towels if you're new to staining.
I've used the oil based stain in a couple shades now and I absolutely love them! They go on beautifully. I have applied the stain with both a sponge brush and an old tshirt, both methods work great. highly recommend these stains!
Used ZAR translucent wiping stain+poly for refinishing the natural woodwork in our house, circa 1930 and the late 1990's. Found right blend of Zar colors to match, and also correct adjacent dissimilar finish colors. Stripping, bleaching, etc. was impractical. Had used a competitive brand in the past, but the Zar "Multi-Surface" was far superior.
I am thrilled I found this stain and color! I needed to stain 2 shelves going into a black walnut china hutch. This color was the perfect match! I was out of pre-stain conditioner but it turns out I didn't need it with Zar. I applied using an oil brush and let it sit for about 10 minutes before I wiped off any excess with a foam brush. I let it dry for a few hours before I applied a second coat of Vintage Modern with a little Aged Bourbon for depth. The result was streak free with no blotching. It's affordable, easy to use, and creates the perfect finish without the typical overpowering fumes. I refinish furniture for a living and Zar's stain is my go-to choice!
I am a professional painting contractor out of Rancho Santa Fe, California. We have been using zar stain for well over 30 years and I must say it is one of the only products out there that has maintained consistency in quality.
Zar was easy to use, dried faster than other oil based products I've used and left a beautiful finish. This product allows me to complete my stained projects faster than usual.
The ZAR stain seemed to absorb well in cool weather of 55 - 60 degrees…beautiful result.
Our painting contractor blended two shades to perfectly match the look of 50-year-old white pine for an addition to our house. I had tried all sorts of stains from the big manufacturers but none came close. Zar makes a clearly superior product.
