I like being on the recurring program--that way the filters come on time.
It's indicated in the instructions that it will be hard to install. I haven't attempted to install as current filter expires in June; however, I dred installing the new one as all the previous filters have also been difficult to install. Otherwise, your filters seems to work once installed but it is hard to determine if the product really does anything. How does a person verify that the filter is doing what it is suppose to do? Filters arrived per scheduled date.
