I followed the directions using one small ladle worth of popcorn. The un popped and popped came out at the same time. Used the bowl and un popped filled bottom of the bowl, the floor and counter. The ones that did pop flew everywhere and then some of the un popped in the bowl....we know what happened next. It took me 5 min to clean up the mess. On a good note the butter melted in the ladle. A little hot to the touch but it did melt.
