The UA Commit TR EX Men's Training Shoes are comfortable and great and not just for training. I have tried a number of brands of training shoes and normal shoe on my job (High Threat Protection Overseas). I've spent years trying different shoe for work, walking and running for mile and even on steep hills. I was totally impressed with the quality of this shoe so I am a fan of UA. I'm getting ready to purchase another pair of UA Commit TR EX Men's Training Shoes for work.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes are very comfortable. I've worn them to the gym a few times, and it's been really good. The great thing about the shoes is that not only can you wear them for training, you can also wear them when going out. I really like it!
I really like these, they are very light and comfortable. It's hard for me to decide which ones to wear as I also have another pair of under armour cross trainers. I feel these are better for maybe higher intensity workouts or HiiT as they have a slightly lifted toe area like a running shoe but they are not running shoes.
I love my new tennis shoes I walk very comfortable..
Tried a number of brands of training shoes and the UA Commit felt the most comfortable. I spent two weeks walking 3-6 miles/day and walked 13 miles/day 3X on treadmill. Felt confident that I could achieve personal goal so on 9/22, I walked 12.1 miles in 4 hours for the Jimmy Fund Boston Marathon. Totally impressed with the quality of this shoe so I am a fan of UA. Recently purchased workout tops/shorts and love the quality. Thx UA. Chris
This is so far the best training shoe i've tried. I wear a size 12 and have flat feet, so i need something that's not too narrow, especially in the front shoe box area. These fit true to size for me and that's not common. usually with any shoe there's a break in period, but not with this one. The fit and comfort level were perfect. First time i wore them was right before a workout. Put them on and 15 mins later was working out. So I tested them immediately and even during the workout i was thinking how great the shoes felt, solid base support for squats, lunges, deadlifts and military press (standing). Firm grip on the floor. no slippage nor was there too much grip, where you felt like your feet couldn't move or transition freely. So, granted, i've only used them once, so i can't speak on their long-term durability, and structural integrity yet. They were impressive enough for me to write this review and buy a second pair, because of the price and to make sure i have an extra pair, before they are gone and mess up the shoe in a new design. btw it's rare, that i give anything or any place 5 stars. if things change, i'll update this review.
The shoes are fine. They are comfortable and good for workouts. One small complaint the laces are really to short for the shores. It is difficult to tie them correctly.
I bought this shoe for CrossFit purposes. The shoe fit right, was comfortable, and the fit and finish was nice. Overall I would have been happy with this shoe but I would suggest NOT using these shoes if you are doing any type of rope climbing activities within your training/crossfit classes. Since the rubber on the bottom of the shoe does not continue across the arch of the shoes, when descending a rope with a J-hook style foot grip the foam melted and wore off in less than 20 rope climbs. It has not exposed the fabric of the shoe and the missing portion of the shoe can be felt when walking and running so I will be replacing them after only 7-8 months. I do not blame UA for this just wanted to let the community know there seems to be other shoes within UA that might be more fit for this type of activity. Thanks!
The shoe looks great, great comfort at first but not built for cross training, cheap material, cheap glue/ plastic ...overall I wore this pair about 15 -20 times and the front part "toe tip" did come off. Attached a picture describing what I mean.
Really like the style , I ordered a half size larger because I read a review that they run small .......... wow a bit of an understatement. A very tight fit width wise . Unfortunatly I'm returning and will look for a sneaker with a Wide width .........
