I absolutely love this tool set! It is made so well and is nice and heavy. It will not tip over when you take a tool from the stand. I chose the copper finish which has a little antiquing on each piece and it is gorgeous. I am so pleased and received such nice compliments from family and friends!
The look and the style of this antique copper fireplace tool set is just awesome. We love displaying it on our new stone fireplace. It goes with our rustic theme. It looks really expensive. The quality is there too. The twisted copper handles have a unique look that sets it apart from other styles. We have had many different types and styles and this by far is the best looking of them all. The only draw back is that the bristles on the broom break off very easily, so we will just get a little fireplace room to compliment the set. Overall great product.
There are a lot of junky fireplace sets out there and this set is not one. I wasn't expecting much when i ordered it. Someone had to make a nicer set. This set is nice quality and constructed well. It also looks beautiful next to the other pieces i bought from Plow & Hearth. I liked my Owl Fatwood holder, Fireplace tool Set Twisted Handles, Copper Finished Firewood Bucket, & Deluxe Galvanized Ash Bucket. They all are well constructed. Shipped nicely in the boxes that didn't cause any damage via UPS. I also received them in a week as promised. The price was good with quality. You get what you pay for. Thank you.

I really have not use this yet, we just had it delivered yesterday. But is exactly what we were looking for. Goes perfect with our Fireplace screen and stone fireplace. We love the look.
So far we really like this set. The tools are very durable unlike our old set where the parts screwed together and we had to constantly tighten the handles. The bristles on the brush were very misshapen upon unpacking, not a deal breaker. Also the log grab tool is odd. It can come open on its own while hanging because the two parts don't clip together for hanging. It is hard to explain. So we have to hang it so that if the one side falls, it will hit the center of the stand and not fall out to hit anything or anyone nearby.
Use daily with my fireplace through this winter. Enjoy the look and utility. Heavy duty yet elligant.
This is certainly a beautiful set. I didn't use it because I received the wrong finish so I packed it right back up again--so I can't attest to the durability. The high points: outstanding one-piece construction means nothing to come loose. Heavy duty, feels great in your hands, smooth and no seams. Solid and sturdy. I ordered the antique copper wrought iron, which by the photo seems a darker, deeper copper, but received the antique copper, which is bright and shiny like a new penny. Beautiful, but too loud for my space. Sending it back, and hoping the same thing doesn't happen when I reorder, since Hayneedle doesn't do exchanges.
