I have been using charcoal grills for 20 years or so and this is my first gas grill. I didn't know whether to go BIG or SMALL, so I got this one, which I considered MIDDLE of the line. Well, I have only had it a few days and cooked on it twice, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. It cooked my burgers just great, with a lot of smoke and flavor. I know I haven't had it long enough to rate the quality, but so far it is great. The assembly was fine and things went okay (about an hour) and the grill is sturdy and looks sharp. I will rate this unit again, if I have issues with rust or the burners, but for now it has surpassed my expectations for a gas grill. I'm just learning, but the way my last two grillings went, I am happy I purchased a gas grill after all these years. I won't get into a flavor battle with gas vs. charcoal, but I have to say the convenience of this gas grill is really good. I am happy right now with it and it actually blew me away with the first cooking (the burgers all cooked fine with no cold spots or flare-ups) and the smoking was more than I thought from a gas grill. But the nail was the taste. My whole family just loved the taste of the burgers and that's what it is all about. The taste. I have to admit that I was surprised....being my first grilling with a gas unit. Like I said, I will update if things happen bad with this grill, but so far I am very, very happy with this unit. My burgers didn't stick the grid at all. If you leave the meat on there long enough, the sear will prevent them from sticking. If not, then coat the grid with vegetable oil before heating and the meat should release just fine.
excellent value for the money. works like a charm and looks good to. stainless steel burners looks like a high dollar grill for half the price.
Great Grill. Took 1.5 hours to get it put together with the help of my daughter. Definitely easier with an extra pair of hands. Follow directions. Not difficult. 0-600 degrees in about 5 minutes on high, so there is lots of heat available. Would certainly recommend!!
I live in a small apartment & this is big enough to cook alot of food at once and still small enough to store in my one car garage! Excellent price and i love the side burner even though i hardly ever use it.
Easily put together and does a great job of cooking
Good value. Its was slightly damaged in shipping; but it works fine. The ding isn't really a big issue unless of course this was a gift for someone else. The grill is being used at our mountain home & we saw no reason to return because of that. It was quick service & we're very pleased.
Great grill for the value. The only problem I have is the burners seem to make a cold spot in the middle of the grilling surface. Both sides are hotter than the middle. Other than that, everything works perfect. and very easy to put together yourself. Overall very good though.
Great grill for the money. If you decide to put it together yourself, you should read through the instructions at least once before you begin. It took about an hour to assemble
You get what you pay for. It is all made of stamped metal, nothing cast. If it lasts two years I'll be satisfied. Above all if you purchase take advantage of the free assembly. I didn't. The instructions are total junk, vague drawings, nothing written. Used it last night and the meat got stuck to the grate even with spray on no stick (it is stamped metal too). Oh, and it does not come with a gas bottle. Two years and I'll buy something else.
As said in other reviews you get what you pay for...this grill does the job and that is about it. I have had the grill for two years and had to replace the burner twice now. The meat does stick to the grill even after two years of use. There are a lot of cold spots and easy flare ups. The push button lighter only worked for about 6 months. Would not recommend this product. Get a Weber.
