Loaded bag to the point it was hard to carry. So far holding up well. Keeps all the small pieces that fall off logs contained. Does what it's supposed to. Also got one for my son.
My father made a log carrier years ago out of canvas and wood, but after years of use and repairs, it was time for a new one. Saw this same item all over the internet for $29 and up. Saw it at Wal Mart online for $15! The lowest price on the net! Ordered it "Site to Store" to save on shipping, and it got to my local Wal Mart two days EARLIER than promised. The clerk at the store asked if I would like to inspect it before I took it home. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was much better quality than I had anticipated. and very sturdily assembled, with the canvas waterproofed as well. I simply found nothing bad to say about the log carrier, the price or the shipping and delivery. Dad is going to love it!
It was just what I was looking for and less expensive than elsewhere. It is tough and holds 17ïnch heavy logs. Highly reccomend it.
I looked around for a firewood carrier and found prices as high as $49 plus S&H. Maybe the others were made of heavier canvas but this one seems to have adequate canvas strength for the job and the construction seems to be fine. We'll see how long it holds up. I had my last carrier for 15 years.
having used this wood carrier is much nicer than than the open ended ones. less mess with the wood chips on the floor and more stable when carrying the wood. the price was good and the delivery time was good. now have to use a while and see how it holds up but does seem sturdy to last a few yrs.
For the price, you can't beat this firewood carrier. It's only the beginning of the log burning season, but I believe I will be getting reliable use from this carrier.
This is the second time I bought this carrier. The fabric gets worn from the rough texture of the wood and it starts to get thinner. My first carrier still hasn't ripped through but I wanted to have a new one at the ready when this occurs. Wish the fabric was more sturdy but for the price it is an excellent product.

I bought this item for my brother since he's acquired a different home out in the country. He absolutely loves this and finds it very useful and strong as he carries and some logs for a fire almost every night. I would recommend this . It is sturdy and now he can have a hand free to open back up the door to get in.
This is a rather flimsy excuse for the sturdy ol' LLBean firewod tote that I used for many years, and which is no longer available. Shouldn't be too difficult for someone to replicate that Bean design. This particular item is like an open mouth duffel bag, lacking the reinforced canvas needed to keep it open and without the durable leather handles. Probably won't hold up very well to heavy use for more than a couple of seasons. Worth about $5 at most, certainly not the $15 or so it costs with shipping.
