i got this as a fathers day gift for my hubby he loves it its a great size and with 2 people putting it together it took a hour it has storge space and place to hang bbq tools overall i like this grill
bought this grill yesterday for my husband. was excited to start assembling it this morning to surprise him. as i was putting the legs together, the weld came apart on one leg and i can't finish the assembly. luckily my husband is a welder, so it can be fixed. now i can't surprise him!
I bought this grill for my husband thinking he would love it. No. It took him forever to get it together and during the assembly the welds on the leg broke. Well we got it to where it was "useable". We used it one time. The next time we went to use it it completely fell apart. It was the biggest waste of money. I expected better.
Have had this grill since 05/30/10. Did take an hour plus to assemble. The weld on the Kingsford name plate was broken after first use. Was out in the rain first night I used it and rust followed on hood and inside bottom grate within a few days. After third use noticed paint peeling from bottom and more rust. Plan on returning it this weekend and spend a few more dollars on a better one. You do get what you pay for! I was expecting a little better for the $88.00
Bought this right before Memorial Day and it broke right before Independence Day. The lid started to rust almost immediately. I even bought a cover to help prevent this, but the dew alone from the first night I used the grill started the rust. The final straw was 7/2/10. I loaded the coal bed exactly as the instructions described. I was slow cooking a large amount of chicken and the knob that raises and lowers the coals snapped off. After further investigation, I saw that the entire mechanism broke, the plastic knob was just the weakest point. On a positive note, Wal-Mart took the grill back and I just ordered a Weber today. I should not have been swayed by the accessories of the Kingsford and just bought what I wanted...a simple rock solid charcoal grill.
Bought this as a fathers day present was setting it up to use and welding broke off leg. expected better quality from name.
