Like it. Great for what I wanted. Simple HR monitor for training. Would like it better if the watch had an alarm on it.
I had purchased this watch after having used a watch with heart monitoring abilities during a work assessment test. The watch I had used during the assessment had places on the watch face where you placed your thumb and index finger and read you heart rate. This one had a band that you have to place around your chest and then transmits a signal to the watch to get your heart rate. To me this was just a little awkward since I was wanting something that I could use anytime and anyplace not just when I had on additional equipment.
had difficulty in pushing buttons to set time/date, but eventually got time and date to set. also, never got the watch to show a pulse, even after wetting the chest band sensor, and holding it tightly on my chest, 6" away from the watch. the watch never picked up a signal. might be the battery in the chest band was depleated, but for a new watch to come from the store, not likely. also, when I order the watch, I do not recall that this model was advertised as having a chest band, as i was wanting the type that the watch has the sensor on its back, and you do not have a chest band. will be returning to the store for a refund.
