Will buy till you stop making them.
When I discovered that my glucose strips were $144 at Walgreen Pharmacy, I was so happy to see them at 1/10 that price at Walmart.com. Always a pleasure to have such a victory!
Unistrip Generic test strips work just as well as the more expensive major brands.
The quality of this item is great and affordable. I couldn't suggest a better product for your healthcare needs.
This was excellent substitution for one touch which is very expensive. I find this generic brand to be more reliable and more affordable for me and I will use this product for as long as I have this blood glucose monitor.
I was concerned that these strips might not actually work with my meter since they're generic but they do just fine. And what's better, they take less blood to register than the name brand strips and the price is unbeatable. So glad I found these!
I use these with my One Touch UltraMini meter. The secret is to get enough blood so your strips aren't wasted. True with ALL strips. I compared it with my Keto Mojo meter and the results are very comparable consistently. These are so worth the price.
I noticed from the very start that these strips gave incorrect readings on my meters. Yes, I say meters as I have several. Yes, I used the correct coding (49). Example. Today I felt hypoglycemic. I used my newest meter with the matching strips for it and got a reading of 68. Using the same drop of blood, I used 2 of these strips in 2 different OneTouch Ultra meters and got 101 and 111 respectively. Switching to the genuine OneTouch strips (and switching the coding to 25), I got readings of 68 and 66. No, I didn't use too much or too little blood. Each test was picture perfect. Both OneTouch meters are approximately 10 years old, so easily older than the 2016 manufacture date recommmended. I now see why WalMart no longer carries these, despite the fact they compete with their Equate brand.
Tested multiple times versus brand name test strips and results come back 25-40% higher with these test stripes.
The strips fit my OneTouch Ultra2 blood glucose meter and seem to function properly. But, they give very high readings, 15-30 points higher than the manufacturer's strips used with the same blood from the same finger stick. Also, the amount of higher reading is not systematic, so the results cannot be calibrated. Something is very wrong here, but it escapes this user what is going on.
