painted a tan ottoman brown, looks great wears well, easy to use, have to monkey a bit with trigger when spraying just lift up trigger with finger to reset
I have a bi cast leather couch that was showing cracking and fading. I tried everything!!, and it kept getting worse. First I used VLP but it left a glue stain that was super glossy. and when I sat on the couch and the glue started flaking and turning white like what you would get from Elmer's glue. then I had to strip it, that made the bi cast strip off too. Then i tried to stain the leather with wax N polish stain witch the leather absorbed and left a black patch. I was two hairs from dumping the couch till i spray painted it. Yeah i know. Spray paint?? well i just hope it last. I'm giving it 5 star rating cause it works and it looks great it dose get everywhere when you spray I suggest this as a airy out door all day project. I'm not sure if all the prep mistakes had too do with the out come but I will post back if it bombs.
The spray was useless. It didn't even cover half of the chair and the part it did cover instead of looking like the spray said it was supposed to the chair looked dirty. I will never purchase it again. I bought the Dark Chocolate/Brown to cover a green chair and as I said it just made the chair look dirty no change in color.
This brand/type of dye is the absolute worst. It gets everywhere, it takes forever to dry, and it bleeds through stencils so you don't have your shape you want, but just a giant blob of messy spray that splashes back on your hands and any uncovered areas of your project.
DID NOT COVER FABRIC CHAIR. I USED TWO CANS AND LOOKED TERRIBLE. I WAS ADVISED TO USE 5 CANS FROM FRIENDS WHO USED IT TO PAINT A CHAIR. INSTEAD I BOUT A BOX OF FABRIC DYE AND FINISHED JOB. LOOKS GREAT WITH REGULAR BOX DYE.
