ordered this for my grandson just to play his games on.. this was the first phone in 5 years I have bought that you HAVE TO have a phone plan on it for the phone to work.
after a few days it stopped working and wanted me to pay monthly. it were fast for da price when it did work doe. it runs ubuntu well. fru it in da trash
normally when you buy a phone so cheap its for a kid without internet or service and now it locked the phone if i dont buy service not happening and will never buy this phone again
This phone company sucks they don't tell you that you have to buy a plan to use it I got this phone for my 7year old to play games on WiFi and I can't use the phone because they have a block on the phone I said ok I'll buy a plan to get the block off they say they can't give me a plan cause it's not in my area I should just return it
The comments that say it will lock out after 48 hours are correct, except mine locked out about 50-60 hours after initial setup. This definitely won't work as a wifi-only phone like the older US-Cellular TCL phones. I am returning it. I saw other pre-pay phones at Wal-Mart that will work as Wifi-only. Good luck.
phone auto locks if u dont buy a plan FUN!!!! NOW STUCK WITH 2 PHONES THAT I CANT DO ANYTHING WITH AND CANT EVEN GET A PLAN BECAUSE THEY DONT WORK IN MY AREA.
i baught this phone with US Cellular..threw walmart..now the rhing about this phone..you cant get service with US Cellular in my area..which it lied in the walmart app..said i could..so i now gotta go out to walmart to get my money back..cause the pphone is completely useless to me..

Do not buy this phone from Walmart.It's like it's stolen.They black listed it on US cellular because they do not scan it out at Walmart.When they send it out online, so you will buy this phone and find out that you cannot get it.Activand walmart doesn't care so you will lose your money
Don't buy, unable to set up correctly and us cellular couldn't even help!! Trash, cheap, no good!!
