I had a unique experience with Net 10 updating my cell number from a Samsung J3 Orbit to this cell phone. This phone is factory unlocked as advertised, however I didn't know that the carrier was on T-Mobile service prior unit I checked the IMEI number and found out. So the Sim Card needed a T-Mobile sim card that I bought for .99 online. Orginally Net 10 told me to use the Verizon sim card, which didn't work, so I tried the T-Mobile sim card and boom, it worked. So, I sent a message to the seller on Saturday and Monday morning I got a response. I called them and explained my problem in detail being that I thought that the phone was a dud. Nope, the phone is fine, just wrong set up information from Net 10 regarding Sim card carriers. I did ask the seller to list the prior carrier so that the buyer can insert the proper sim card. Seller very easy guy talk to on the phone. Ok now for the phone condition. minor light wear on some of the edges, hard to see since the phone is black. Also, this phone is a gem, does it all for me, everything works, I bought Walmart's warranty for it for peace of mind. My old phone worked fine but I wanted an update to 5 G and this was the least expensive one I could fine on Walmart.com. Better prices here then elsewhere for me. So, that's my input, hope it helps your decision.
The phone itself is a good device. The problem was it was advertised as an AT
