This product meets car manufacturers specs, and reduces environmental impacts. Why use any other oil?
I change my cars oil ever 3000 miles. I plan on keeping my car for a long time. For the price this oil is very good. You can't go wrong with Valvoline oil.
I have waited for over ten years for a recycled motor oil that meets or exceeds GM6094M and API standards, and this one is it. The oil is the exact same quality as motor oil made straight from crude oil. Thank you Valvoline for bringing this to the market!
This oil is not as good as virgin group 2 base oils, Evergreen Oil recycling whom Valvoline uses for its used base oils specs are 92% saturates or 8% aromatics, virgin group 2 from companies such as Chevron have 99% saturates or 1% aromatics. X is Chevron as an example of a virgin base oil High aromatics cause oxidation and breakdown in oils What makes X base oils more resistant to oxidation? X Base oils contain lower levels of reactive compounds than solvent-refined Group I base oils and, in some cases, other Group II base oils. These "impurities," which include aromatics, sulfur and nitrogen compounds, are much more susceptible to oxidative attack, and some of them are capable of catalyzing oxidative attack. Once oxidation starts, a complex chain of reactions occurs that ultimately causes both the base oil and the additives to degrade.
