The shave kit includes a bowl for the soap the soap and a brush, the soap itself has a light cologne-esque scent, that I find refreshing. I didn't like that the handle on the brush was less than high quality being made of formed plastic, but hey, that's quality today. The soap is hypoallergenic for the guys (and girls if you like it) with sensitive skin. After shaving using this soap instead of any other shave gel/cream, I actually found the use of aftershave lotion completely optional, opting to not use aftershave at all felt no different than any other shave did with shave gel/cream after using aftershave.
My husband loves this kit. I was actually able to purchase replacement soaps at our local Walmart. Good treat - good price.
This is an excellent set for the price. It rivals sets costing much more. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Overall I like the size and shape of this shaving mug. The shave soap is excellent. The brush however is a bit stubby and I have a bit of a problem working up a good later with it. As the singer Meatloaf sang, "Two out of three ain't bad."
