This is a great product for bike safety and looks cool.
I have a pair of these Red Reflector Lights along with a pair of "Night Ize" Green LED Spoke Lights. The color combination of Red & Green are a real attention getter at night. I notice that vehicles pay more attention to me in the dark. As par for the course, kids think it's super cool too! The only down side is it takes button batteries which are way over-priced at the stores. I would strongly suggest that you do what I did, and buy your Button Batteries in "BULK" on Ebay. I have stocked up with a large volume for a fraction of the cost. Which makes having plenty of replacement batteries a breeze, and keeps you looking good! In any case, it is money well spent. Anything that makes you more visable at night is always good!
Spoke reflector with 2 LEDs fulfilled my requirements. Red LED lights turn on automatically when wheels turn, and turn off after about a minute when wheels stop turning. Good to have these safety reflectors for those of us who ride at night. Great value and the price is right.
extra lights help make riding experience safer & more fun
Simple, light, effective, slightly tricky to install but once in place it stays put. Probably not cut out for rainy weather, but plenty light enough for low light or semi-shaded routes and stops blinking when you stop moving.
Product works well and definitely provide an extra added safety measure at night. Only issue I had was that when I tightened the screws too snug the light didn't work, so I had to loosen it back some to get it to work again. Seems not tight enough to me, but so far the light seems to be staying where it is mounted to. Also, the unit has a really flimsy rubber gasket design for keeping dirt and water out, but it doesn't look too promising. Just have to wait and see how durable this product really is Lights turn on by motion. Would be a much better product if you could manually turn the lights off for day time riding to conserve battery life.
