So far I like everything about the bicycle seat rain cover (price, delivery time, design, etc.) but don't yet know how well it will do its job, i.e., protecting bike saddle from rain, because it hasn't had a test of that yet. therefore, both the question & answer in this survey about how often I use the product is of no import.
The whole thing rolls up into a little bag that can be attached via Velcro straps to your bike's frame. And, you can leave the bag attached to the main frame rail on your bike an it will still cover your seat, which is very convenient. The Velcro straps are low quality and begin to fray quickly. However, this does not cause it to become unattached. Overall, a very nice convenience for anyone who needs to use a bike after a rainstorm
I bought this cover, called the "Ventura Bicycle Saddle RAIN Cover" specifically because my bike has to stay outside, and my new bike seat isn't vinyl, it's covering is just nylon and the foam seat can absorb water. I was really disappointed to find that when it rained the first time with the cover on and I went out to ride, the seat was soaked!
Works well for a short, light shower... But for any measurable amounts of precipitation, this thing will not keep your seat dry at all.
It was not waterproof as expected.
