Finally found the ideal travel bag for my long flights!! I'd been ordering and returning travel bags from Vera Bradley and others for a couple of months. The problem has been that the trolley sleeves were too small/narrow for the handle width of my new 21" Travelpro spinner carryon suitcase (Crew 11 series). I'd almost given up hope, when I noticed this one. The photo of the trolley sleeve looked just a tad looser than the regular weekender or the Lighten Up weekender. And it was! The organization of this bag is designed exactly for how I travel. Large tablet fits perfectly into the laptop sleeve, with room for a fold up keyboard next to it. I can also add a paper file or two into the same compartment. I use the main compartment for meds, electronics organizer, jewelry roll, earphones, wallet, crossbody purse, and handbag contents; 3-1-1 bag is the last thing in. BTW, I take out my crossbody purse and load it up prior to landing so I'm hands free for train or cab. Front U compartment is for my snacks and throwing watch, sunglasses, and loose stuff when I go through TSA. Phone goes into the so-called passport pocket, the deep little zip corner pocket behind the laptop section (built-in phone/charger pockets are too small for my phone). Good spot to keep phone from getting scratched. And the new metal zip pocket across the front of the U pocket is ideal for boarding pass and/or passport, which I keep in an RFID sleeve. Easy to reach. Really appreciate the soft, classy channel-stitched microfiber material; appears a bit more sophisticated (grown-up) than the usual diamond quilting. So glad I took a chance on this bag but now I'm bummed I didn't get it monogrammed.....it's that good!

I bought this bag together with the Iconic Compact Weekender. I bought it in Classic black, and I am so happy I did. The bag is beautifully designed, very soft and light and yet strong and durable. This is my favorite Weekender so far, as it has a lot of pockets, easily accessible while traveling. I love the big mesh pockets inside. It is perfect for one or two pairs of shoes, and keeps them separate from your clothes. It has a specially padded section for your laptop, which is very handy. This bag is so much prettier than the pictures, I love the quilting, and everything about this bag screams quality. I recently used this on a business trip, and I packed four day's clothes, all my cosmetics, hairdryer, laptop, some files, and an extra pair of shoes. There was still room for a lot more. Together with the Iconic Compact Weekender it served my needs well, and I didn't have to check any luggage. Highly recommended, well worth its price.
I've always traveled on airlines with my trusty designer duffle bags or totes. But I felt they weren't getting the job done at times cuz it would be like reaching into a black hole where I couldn't access or put things away quickly. Now I won't have that problem with this bag. I can't wait for my next international flight!

It's really a great bag but I asked and was charged for monogramming on the front and left side. It was only monogrammed on front but was charged for both front and side.
I liked the bag and numerous pockets but the trolley sleeve was too small for all of my suitcases. I was sorry I had to return it
I like this deluxe because of the computer compartment and three front compartments. However, very disappointed all the pockets in the front have very little organization. Wish there were small pockets for earphones, chargers, pens, eye glasses, key holder, etc. I don't understand why three great compartments and only two tiny little pockets, none of them are large enough for a large cell phone. Makes no sense.
