I've received purses from Vera Bradly online that were sent in beautiful boxes with tissue. I'm not sure what happened here but this bag came in a flat envelope. I'm just home from the hospital and had no way to take the bag to my local Vera Bradley store and have them wrap it for me. I was embarrassed to give this bag as a gift.
This has become my go-to daily bag for work, but has also doubled for me as a travel bag for quick weekend trips. Its big enough to store everything, the pockets are great, and it's stylish. I may need to purchase a couple more just to save this one from wearing out too soon!
For my morning commute which includes a 10-12 minute walk, I'm usually carrying lunch, a travel mug of coffee, my iPad, phone and various personal items. I felt like I needed more hands when I was carrying so many of these items separately. This tote lets me put everything in one bag that comfortably hangs from my shoulder. With all the pockets, I can keep organized easily. This makes my mornings less stressful.
I use this bag to carry my stuff to and from school. I typically bring binders, my computers, papers, etc. It holds everything I need it to and it doesn't hurt my shoulder like some bags do. It also looks cute too, which is a big part of what goes into my buying something that I will use everyday!
This is one of my favorite Vera Bags that I own! I love the blue color and the solid print. The fabric feels different than my other Vera bags, and not in a bad way. I'm a nurse and take this bag to work with me each shift and it holds everything I need plus more. Can't wait to use it as a carry-on next time I fly.
I purchased this to use as my teacher bag. So far it seems to be large enough and the straps are a comfortable length. It also stays upright when it's standing up which is a bonus! I wish there was a zippered wall pocket on the inside of the bag for personal items instead of all those open pockets. I do tend to lose things in those deep pockets. Overall a good purchase - be sure to wait for a sale though - I don't believe it's worth full retail.
Purple color is beautiful and really sets off the gold monogram.
I enjoy this large bag because I can put most anything inside such as a small umbrella, a shawl, a large wallet, snacks, and a small purchase from a department store. I am giving it a four star because I was disappointed with the monogram color. It was lighter in color than shown on the website but all in all, I love this bag! I now own three of them. I enjoy the solid colors, too!
This is a good carry-on to put under the seat in front of me. Disappointed because the bottom keeps popping up (It folds in half the long way). Also this replaced a smaller tote that had the cellphone pocket that had a magnet. The pouch on this one doesn't have a magnet and my phone makes the bag sag.
I was eager to receive my tote and took the tags off as soon as I took it out of the box without looking it over carefully and it had a stain or discoloration on it. I haven't even used it. I doubt they would take an exchange or return without the tag. It's my fault for not looking at every inch of it first. I just assumed it would be in perfect condition being new. I'm disappointed. This will probably be my first and last Vera Bradley purchase.
