The lg optimus zone 2 has been a excellent phone for me, have signal where with other phone i didnt, the calls are loud and clear and battery last, i removed apps that i dont need saved on battery usage reaaly love this phone just the right size.does what it suppose to do all function work like they suppose to fast nothing slow, this is my opinion.
I procrastinated to buy this phone and go with Verizon. I finally did make a decision to leave sprint, so I bought this phone and wow a good choice. The phone is just as good as the Galaxy or Apple that cost $600 to $800 and even has better sound Quality and does everything that those expensive ones do. Great phone and service.
I have tried almost every Verizon prepaid phone and finally one that works great! I live in the middle of a city and one would think that I would get a great signal. But just when I was about to give up I got this little phone. I have gone to expensive to almost the cheapest to finally get a fantastic signal. I would recommend this phone for sure. It is small but works great for me on all levels!
I like the simplicity of this phone. After all, I have my COMPUTER for all that other stuff lol.
I purchased 2 for early Xmas gifts. The phones are a perfect size, has a great plan, , and they were easy to set up. They have options that the more expensive phones have, gps, wifi, bluetooth, but at a awesome price. They sold out online, but ordered by locating them in a store near my family, that store had the phones in site to store ,ready for pickup the next day.
It does exactly what it is suppose to do it was kinda hard to handle at first till I bought a case for it. the phone is a little slow but that is because of the processor nothing you cant live with.Battery life is good how a phone works has a lot to do with your carrier. overall the phone is worth the money.
I purchased this phone a few months ago to upgrade from a pay as you go flip phone. The phone which has the latest Android operating system does more than I expected and as I learn the phone, it surprises me. It does not have the best of anything, speaker, camera or screen but they are adequate and it is affordable if you are not trying to be a conspicuous consumer and buy a phone that has the price of a small mortgage or monthly car payment. I got the necessary accessories. The LG bluetooth that came with it is very good as I expected something shoddy. I bought a rubber case to hold the phone off ebay for a couple bucks as the phone being small sometimes slips out of my hand. I also purchased a nice belt pouch from Walmart on line that holds the phone even with the rubber case. THE BATTERY LIFE CAN BE EXTENDED TO DAYS IF THE DATA AND BLUETOOTH FUNCTIONS ARE TURNED OFF AND USED ONLY WHEN NEEDED. I expanded the storage with an 8gb sd card for music, books and pics. I don't have to worry about dropping it and feeling like I wasted a couple hundred bucks on a phone.... It is not a status symbol but a tool for communication. It works.
I ordered this phone through walmart.com, excellent price for what you get. I am one of the last hold out's to get a smart phone. I did not like the idea of paying an arm and a leg just to own one, so I waited. Yes, it has a small screen (I have no need to carry a laptop around), but I think it's just right. I suggest that if you plan to use the navigator app alot as I do as part of my volunteer work; get a car adaptor (have not purchased yet), because the battery drains very quickly. Even if I don't use this app and just make a phone call or a few text messages, the battery will be down to 50% or less in no time. I thought my Samsung was bad! All in all, I still like this phone for the price.
The problem I have with this is that the plan that goes with this plan is Verizon. The data is not unlimited and it caused me problems. But it would be great for a beginner.
If you you want a secure phone, you need to read this. Now, this is a cheap phone, that works like a cheap phone. Not amazing, not terrible. Decent for the money. Until we reach the lock screen. Now, some sort of lock (the phone offers pattern, PIN, or password) must be placed on the phone or it will CONSTANTLY perform functions from inside your pocket. Simply disabling it will NOT suffice, EVER. This however was not the biggest problem, a simple pattern lock can solve this problem and isn't that much of an inconvenience. But, if say, a child, or unscrupulous person, were to pick up your phone and try and access it without knowing your pattern, you have a problem. It seems to me that this phone was designed for thieves. For them to easier steal it, anyway. If you say, used a pattern lock, and someone else wanted your phone, with your number, using your minutes, the theft process is so simple a child can do it. As a teacher, I have had it happen twice already. Simply enter the pattern wrong 10 times and the phone will reset. All apps, pictures, videos, contacts, everything belonging to the previous owner can be gone in a few careless swipes. However, the phone number will remain and the new user can then piggyback off the old user's account, with very little effort. Worst. Phone. EVER.
