I really like my phone simple and easy.
Verizon did not like me adding this phone to my main line - you will need to pay for one month of prepay around 30 dollars and only then you had add for 20 dollars a month as an additional line. Verizon will sell you like this of $$$$ so don't think twice if you need an emergency phone for a senior parent or your child (although my teenagers laughed in my face when I tried :}

The phone is great for those who want a traditional cellphone and not a complicated smartphone. Simple and easy to use gets the job done.
My mom got a Verizon Wireless prepaid flip phone back in 2009 and believe it or not it was still working. However knowing that at the end of this year cell phones less than 4G would stop working I was able to talk her into allowing me to get her another phone she chose this one. We took it home and had no problem activating it. The only complaint I have is the instructions are woefully lacking in detail, I had to play with the phone quite a bit to figure it out, thank God for a video on YouTube. However once I got it figured out I wrote down the steps mom would need to take to place a call or send a text and now that she's figured it out she absolutely loves it.
It is an act of congress to activate this phone!!!!!
These phones have been a huge disappointment. After purchasing two, one in store and one online I was very dissatisfied with both. Their seems to be a lag in audibility from the speaker if it ever picks up so that the person listening can even hear at all. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased both. Especially the second one.
total money loss-- service wanted call to activate and this takes working phone==== tried to return phone and form printed i had until feb 7 tried today and they said it was too late depite what your form said==so i am out the money and no working [hone
WARNING,,,,,do not buy this phone, i made my first call, no one can hear you, from setting it up, its a piece of junk, u have been warned.....do not buy this phone, and to the reviews that said it worked great, u got lucky,,,WARNING
The only thing I like about this phone is its price. I find it to be very slow with the dialing and other functions. It also does not allow for T9 words that are not proper english or short-hand, such as ur, cuz, btw, etc. I have found the mute button to be unreliable. I keep having frustrating experiences with the phone. I'm really not enjoying this purchase, and would not recommend it.
