Just picked up one of these and like it a lot. The screen is beautiful but what I love is the 400GB memory! I slid in a card, and OMG. Has more memory than my laptop. Battery is pretty good too. So far, very happy.
I am very happy with this purchase. It works very well. I would order another if I needed a new one. It's simple and has every thing I need on a phone.

Had this phone for two years and haven't had any issues at all. Highly recommend it especially for first time smart phone users. Simple and easy to use.
The phone itself allows you to customize most options and the level of bloatware is kept to a bare minimum. The specs aren't the best on the current market but the features are what you're looking for with this phone. An conviniently removable back cover allows you to take out the battery and replace it if you so desire, and also allows you to expand your storage with a microSD card up to 400GB. I don't see where you can go wrong with that. The phone is sturdy and I can accidentally drop it and not worry about the back of it shattering unlike most glass-backed phones. The display is wonderful and the keyboard is relieving to use. The only downside to this phone in my personal opunion is that the cameras aren't bad, but not nearly what I know Samsung can do and that there's no fingerprint scanner present. If this phone was available with top-notch specs I know that I'd buy it all over again and a fingerprint scanner I know that I'd buy it all over again. This is coming from a former Samsung Galaxy S6 user. I see two phones that can be combined to make something I'd fall in love with.
I got this phon a month ago and am pleased with its performance. Calls, messages and photos work as advertised. Previous phon was a brick, so any improvement is good. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is the second Samsung phone I have had. Not impressed with either one. It is very unreliable when it comes to making and receiving phone calls. There are even times when texts don't come through. It's a glorified alarm clock.
After 3 weeks with this phone, I returned it to the carrier in exchange for a slightly more expensive Moto. The J3 wouldn't stay connected to WiFi, it wouldn't swivel even though the swivel was on, the speaker and mic weren't crisp and made it difficult to hear, and the speaker phone would stop working during a conversation. Also, there is no designated button to drop the keyboard, it's also the back button, so it usually doesn't work. As a personal preference, I didn't like having a physical home button. If Samsung doesn't have the integrity to make a quality phone at this price point, I will not trust them with several hundred dollars. I'll definitely be buying an iPhone.
5 times this phone had to be reset since july 2018 . Can not answer calls and the person you call can not hear you . After a reset it starts working again.
I bought this three months ago. Microphone would cut out. Went to Verizon store three times and they messed with all sorts of settings and still couldn't get it to work unless it was rebooted. Finally, got another one as a replacement and it does the same thing and I've only had it 24 hours.
