My Samsung Galaxy S5 is one fantastic phone. The screen colors are so sharp and vivid it immerses you in glorious color. The processor is so fast, I never have to wait on anything. Turning the phone on takes about two seconds compared to the 15 seconds for the old S4. I love this S5 and can't wait til I have an opportunity to upgrade the S6.
there is more to this phone that meets the eye. I use it for everything. I'll be upgrading soon. Yesterday while driving with it mounted on my dash, it was in direct sun light in it's OTTER case which contributed to it overheating. The phone shut down in stages to prevent damage to itself. NOW THAT'S A SMART PHONE!
First the phone works great! Voice quality very good. Camera is exceptional. Better than any other cell phone. It is intuitive to use. My wife who is not a tech person wanted to take a picture of me while we were out hiking. I handed her the phone and even before I could explain how to take a picture she was ready and took a picture. The screen had been locked. The fact that the wife figured out how to get the camera to work without help tells me that this is a very easy device to use. We will be purchasing her one in a month!
Love this phone with all the many features. Easy to use, great camera, storage, like the size of the phone, etc. Went from a simple phone to the Samsung S-5 and thought I would have a hard time. None at all. Adapted very well to this phone. Can't say enough!
I am a busy mom I work full time I'm on mom duty 24/7 I work out I blog I cook and so on so my Samsung has been there whenever I needed it it's the go too things a person must have its fast easy to use and absolutely and amazing product I have recommended I my iPhone friends to seriously go for Samsung I sure as heck know they'll not regret it I don't! so thank you Samsung for making my life easier by having a product that truly knows me and works the way I need it!!
I've had 2 other so-called smart phones in the past. I had to go back to my flip-phone. The other ones would think I didn't need certain calls or give messages 2 days late. They were slow and unreadable. This S5 has been a great investment and tool. I've been with a Samsung rep. once a week that shows me fantastic features. Some of the Apps. show me great things to do. I am not the best when it comes to electronics, that is why this is " Overall the Best ". Thanks much, Ray B.
Not being into the new technologies this phone has made me a believer that I was behind. I was a little skeptical at first but with the ease this phone let me setup and maneuver around the different apps it has become an instant success in my eyes. The more I do things with it the more I learn and the better I become in using it. I will probably never use it to its full potential but that will not be the phones fault. But I will get everything I want out of it and much more:)
I had numerous problems with the Galaxy 4 locking me out and freezing so I upgraded to the Galaxy 5 hoping these issues wouldn't follow. I'm a fan of Samsung's user friendliness and phones and have had Galaxy phones for a while now. However, the experience I had with the 4 was really scary. I find myself holding my breath with the 5. It's a bit larger and it's a beautiful phone, but already has a glitche with synching my email. Took it to Verizon and even they can't figure it out. I'm hoping it gets solved. Other than that all things seem to work well and it's much faster than the 4. We'll see...
The camera does a wonderful job reproducing what the eye sees in colors. Only one problem....when taking pictures of bright things (sunsets, moon, etc.), it reflects a dot of light in the picture I have yet figured out how to stop or get rid of. This of course has ruined every sunrise, sunset, moon, etc. shot I've taken. See beautiful sunrise below. Notice the white spot below the sun area? Miss Series is a GREAT disappointment for locating information. She frustrated me so badly, so often, I don't even use it anymore. I use another search source that is far, far friendlier and smarter. I'm unable to find a way to change her to a male voice, a smarter person or anything. My friends's Apple phone has a fabulous series......she has even given him a name because he is so friendly, smart and fun to talk to. He is actually quite personable and uses her name as well. Even thinks on his own sometimes and says something really off the wall and funny. Often we think he's a real person! Easily locates the things she is searching for. Why is it we are unable to choose the series voice and person we want? I also find some programs quite difficult to negotiate for the layperson with this phone. I am on my 2nd phone, as the first one was horrible! I was ask continually to repeat things because the other party could not hear me. When in an emergency situation trying to talk to my veterinarian occurred one day, and having to yell as I always did, I began the 3 month plus process of replacing my phone. It was a nightmare in itself. At least people can hear me now. I do have all intentions of turning this in for an Apple at contract time. Far too many hassles, though it ended okay.
Listing does not say used Samsung, came in used with scratches on it and you can see the dirt in the charging port would not have bought if known it was used and seller does not respond to emails regarding return.
