If you suffer from sinus pressure and headaches, you know how difficult it can be to have a good night's sleep. I have year-round allergies that usually consist of congestion and sinus headache. I have to take some sort of sinus medication several times per week. I took the Vicks Sinex LiquiCaps Nighttime and within 20 minutes I could barely hold my eyes open. I slept all night and felt great the next morning. I'm excited to try the daytime pills because I have had a hard time finding allergy medication that won't make me sleepy during the day when I am at work. This is the time of year my allergies start up. After taking the Vicks sinex NightTime LiquiCaps that I received from Vicks,. I was able to get a good night's sleep with no sinus troubles that normally keep me awake at night. I was able to sleep through the night without getting up in The morning still feeling groggy like I do from other medications that help me sleep at night. So i felt like I was coming down with something. I started to get congested and have body aches, but i was not running a fever. I decided to nip it before it got worse. I had the added issue of finding difficult to sleep. I took the Vicks Sinex LiquiCaps Nighttime. It was quick acting, but most importantly it help me fall asleep. Over the last few years I have really been struggling to get some rest at night during allergy season but I have finally found something that takes all that misery away. I recieved a sample of Vicks Sinex Liquicaps Nightime and daytime capsules from Vicks and I can finally sleep again. I also use the daytime ones and they are pretty fantastic as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does work, however, neither my hubby or I could swallow them. I bit off the top, got the liquid out. If you do this, make sure you have something to drink, as the taste is horrid!! I received a free sample from BuzzAgent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Suffering almost constant sinus infections I am always searching for products to try to ease symptoms. I thought it would be great to wake up without any pressure headache or congestion. I was more than ready to try Vick's Sinex Nighttime LiquiCaps, Max Strength. The capsules are large so some people (such as my daughter) would not be able to swallow them. When I was ready to go to bed I took two, and the relief was quick, and I was drowsy fast. I did not wake up several times during the night as usual and I woke without a pressure headache or congestion. However, I did wake up with "brain fog" and felt "off" for a long portion of the morning , even coffee did not help shake the fog/off feeling. The Sinex Nighttime did help with temporary relief of sinuses, however the fog and just feeling not right is not worth taking it again when the daytime works. To be fair my internal clock is set for 5 hours sleep max, so maybe 8 plus hours would decrease or eliminate the fogginess. For me tho, it does not fit my lifestyle. I received this product for free from Vick's in exchange for my honest review.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a fan of the brand Vicks...however, I tried the Vicks Sinex Liquicaps Nightime a few times and discovered there was nothing in it that assisted with sleeping. Not like other products with PM or Nightime. And, to make matters worse it didn't help my sinus issues at all. Very disappointing especially since I really do like the brand. There are other brands out there that meet my expectation far better. Sorry I had to give such a bad review. But it's my honest review. I suffer from sinus issues and have tried many otc medications for it and know what results I have had. Not with this one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was afraid I wouldn't get to try Sinex before the end of the campaign, but my traitor sinuses disagreed. :/ I had a stretch of days to try both the DayTime and NightTime versions. This is for the NightTime version. After having fabulous success with the DayTime version, I was not at all hesitant to try the NightTime one. Took a dose, headed to bed. Woke up the next morning only slightly congested (slept longer than the dosage lasts). However--I had the *strangest*, rather unsettling dreams. I dream every night, so it isn't unusual to have a weird night on occasion. I knew I needed to try again before I assumed it was the Sinex. My sinuses continued to misbehave, so I kept taking the DayTime version (it kept working well), and headed into another night with NightTime. It cleared my symptoms and allowed me to sleep (the only reason it got stars at all), but my dreams were worse than the night before. I will not be taking the NightTime version again, and will just use DayTime at night if needed.
