I purchased this cool mist humidifier for two purposes. One, to help keep the air moist due to our dry conditions in Arizona and two, to help keep the room cooler. It does both very well. I've noticed that my allergy symptoms have diminished and I'm not having to use a ceiling fan all the time. It has worked so well, I'm not even having to water the plants as often. When it's on full throttle, so to speak, it sounds like a regular fan blowing. However, when you put it on the silent mode, it is extremely quiet and you don't notice that it is turned on. Every once in a while you hear a gurgle sound due to the water moving through the system...it isn't very loud. Sounds like you are taking water from a water cooler. The night light is an added bonus. Light enough to sparkle the room with a dim light but not too bright to keep you up at night. This was a fantastic purchase and I would recommend it to anyone.
Ordered this humidifier for my 8 month old grandson. His mommy is an RN and she loves it! Quiet, provides a full night of humidification without refill and the special projecting stars entertain my grandson and can be turned off/on. Great product! Thank you Walmart!
I bought this humidifier for my oldest kiddo 8 years ago (they were an infant). It has ran just about every single day for the last 8 years. My youngest kiddo recently with in the last year broke off the knob to turn it off or down a level so I mean for the last year it has literally ran every day. It's very easy to take apart and clean, the filters are simple just place it in the back. The light is very cute projects stars and a crescent moon and it too had ran on for about the last 8 years. Every so often I'll turn it off just because I still worry it'll burn out some day But honestly this humidifier has lasted through a lot! It does collect dust pretty easily so cleaning it is essential. It also has a spot for the vapor tabs which has been amazing during cold and flu seasons. Although the vapor tabs only last about 12-24 hours. It it a bit loud on the baby monitor when it's on high. It holds quite a bit of water. The tank will last about 3-4 days on high 5-6 days on low just depends on when I fill it up and if the kids mess with it. One day I will up date on this humidifier that it finally gave out….. or maybe it won't maybe it'll be passed down to some grand kids. Only time will tell.
Although this requires a filter which we normally try to avoid. It is easy to set up, the quality was higher than we thought. Our daughter has required in halers/ humidifiers for 3 years. We usually buy this brand but so far this is our favorite. Good capacity and vapor pads work great. We may buy a second.
This is amazing invisible mist no extra water on my stand or floor it is quite and easy to fill!! The night light is cute but also handy !! For sure the best one I have owned of many!! In love w this!
Love how it lasts all night and morning, only having to fill it once. The VICS vapor tabs aren't overly strong, and work great. And the stars are an added bonus. My granddaughter (14 months) loved it and it cleared up her congestion ❤️
Helps with my nose bleeds definitely recommend this is you get nose bleeds cause of dry air. Here’s a picture of the humidifier on my dresser it’s supposed to be for an aesthetic that’s why it’s blurry❣️
My toddler has allergy & eczema issues off & on and we now have 2 of these & have had no issues. I clean the tank part & tray out each week with warm soapy water. I let the filter air dry out in the sun once a week too to kill any bacteria & keep it nice & white. My 2 year old has to have the stars on each night when she goes to bed. I do wish it had a timer so the lights would turn off after so long. We usually keep the unit on the lowest setting just because the higher setting is a bit loud. I wish it had a medium setting as that would be perfect. Filters are very affordable & they last about 2 months for us.
The humidifier gets the job done for my infant daughter's room. If I had to purchase again though, I would probably go with something different. The starry night projector isn't as impressive as I had hoped it would be and doesn't show up very well on the ceiling, it's blurry and dim. The light on the power knob is really bright however so I have to keep the humidifier turned toward the wall so it doesn't shine on the babies face.
Purchased for baby when she gets here and hubby whos nose is always stuffy when the air is running Works to keep the hubby's nose from being non stop clogged up wanted the purple one but the only ordering option was blue if you are not careful when moving it water pours out the back / bottom but no issues with leaking while setting on flat surface moons and stars rotate through colors kind of wish I could just set it on one color but Im sure it will make no difference to baby lol overall works like we need it to
