[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Vicks VapoRub since I was a child. Really, as long as I can remember. I have horrible allergies year round and it helps me to breath through my nose, so that I can comfortably fall asleep. It's what my grandma does and she taught it to me. She literally puts it on every single night before bed. I trust Vicks and appreciate how gentle and effective it is at soothing coughing too. Just a small dab of Vicks VapoRub rubbed onto my chest before bed and done, couldn't be easier. I love the minty menthol scent and how soothing it feels when I breath it in. Vicks VapoRub is a classic and a trusted go to in my family, for generations. Plus, we all have a well hydrated decolletage.

It is especially helpful to rub on the chest to provide some relief from coughs or a blocked nose. I like that a little goes a long way so it lasts quite some time. Since it is a jar product, I prefer if it would come in a squeeze tube so I wouldn't have to put my fingers inside the jar. Other that that, this is a highly used product in my household and it is effective.

Containing menthol and eucalyptus, it goes to work fast on relieving cough and cold symptoms. I also like that it really works on soothing aching joints and muscles. I highly recommend every household have this on hand, especially during cold and flu season.
This is more of a suggestion than a review, I always carry vapor rub everywhere with me so I'm a fan of this product and the different containers it is sold in whether it be the original tub or the small tin that I can fit into my makeup bag. Recently I realized that this product would be useful in a deodorant container or roll on type for easier application. Thank you for your time.
Vicks had been my go to for stuffy noses and colds forever. Recently, I had COVID, and thought nothing would help me feel better. The coughing was intense and even after I tested negative, I still felt under the weather. My mom made me a care package, and in it was the lavender vicks…wow! It smells lovely and still has the same strength as the original formula. Luckily I didn't lose my smell with COVID because I love the smell of this variation! I've been carrying the vicks with me at work or in the car if I stay coughing and I have to say I am still impressed. It's nice to know that even as the world changes, I can still rely on some tried and true methods to get me through.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Vicks Vaporub since I was a child in the 70s. Over the years, I have relied on this product to help relieve cough and congestion when I am sick. The scent is comforting and nostalgic for me. I thought this would be a no brainer 5 star review because it is a longtime favorite of mine. However, while the active ingredients listed on the last jar I received are the same as my previous jar from several years ago, I noticed that the scent of the ointment is weaker and subtly different. It seemed a bit weaker after it was applied as well, but the difference wasn't as noticeable to me. I did some research and found some information online that says the inactive ingredients are what have been changed. The product still helped with my lingering cough from getting Covid recently, but I prefer the original scent and think it had a more powerful, uplifting effect. I really hope Vicks listens and brings back the old formula, but I do think I might have better luck getting my 7 year old son who dislikes anything "minty" to use this milder version.
I'm a little upset I buy Vicks vapor rub every week and the last a couple of times I've brought it the Vicks didn't have a smell to it, nothing happened when I used it... normally when open and use the Vicks you can smell it and a cooling sensation when put on the skin and I haven't gotten that from the last couple jars.... I don't know if you all had a bad batch that was supposed to be trashed and accidentally ended up being sent out or y'all changed the formula or something but please please please fix it...... I spend too much money buying Vicks the way I do and I'm very loyal to the brand.
I see that you have a new formula for the VapoRub. My Mom and I have used this product for as long as I can remember, as I am 63 and my Mom is 84. When I opened up a new jar, I thought I bought a generic brand, as there was almost no smell. When I looked at it, I then realized something was different. I did some research and found out that you changed the formula. My Mom and I both don't like the new formula at all and will most likely stop using it, unless you can bring back the old formula.
Let me say I was very disappointed with the product, I realise that it was unscented. I am here trying to find the scent. It did nothing for me, I had to find another product to use. I am 56 years old an live in the Caribbean, my mom used it on me and I did the same for my kids, this new product is not living up to its name. It's a product that have its place in my medicine cabinet for my entire life. Do please bring back the old Vicks that we have that we have come to live and trust.
