I couldn't be happier with my purchase. CONS: 1. Sometimes the buttons need an extra push. For example: when recording a CD using the manual "track increment" to separate tracks while recording; pushing the track increment button the first time doesn't always advance the track, but the button may be pushed again before the song begins so as long as you pay attention, no problem recovering from this flaw as the LED readout panel doesn't show the advancement if it didn't work. There's easily enough time between tracks to push the button again until the track # advances. I can happen on other buttons too but I am overcoming it easily. 2. The needle is easily replaced and I bought a better model for improved mid tones at LPGear.com, and am keeping the original as a spare. PROS: 1. My old albums have a new life. 2. My new hobby of recording albums is easy and fun. 3. After 20+ years of collecting vinyl records, thousands of albums in our collection will be sorted, saved, recorded, organized, kept or sold after recording. 4. The sound is wonderful from the Victrola unit speakers. 5. Creating a CD is easy. 6. CD-RW and CD-R may both be used. 6.Track separation is easy peasy either manually (for scratchy records) or automatically. I could go on with the PROS; just buy this unit. You'll be happy to record or just listen to your records. ONE LAST THING: There are two little domes for lights on the front. I was disappointed that they aren't really lights for record and play; the red and white domes are for the remote sensor and radio station signal indicator. I like lights! The info panel is nicely lit with an informative display though which is better than those two little domes lighting up. I'd rather have an informative info panel. Oh and, we bought the black one. Very nice black finish and beautiful wood grain texture. We just love our Victrola and the price was excellent from Sam's Club ($149). We placed our order on line and received it at home-shipping free-in less than a week.
I am completely satisfied with the quality and style of this item. I’ve rediscovered the joy of vinyl records all over again. And with the multiple options available, I can play any of my treasured music. Whether it is a record, CD, or cassette tape ; this player has it covered! When I’m ready for something more current, then I tune to my favorite radio station! This really has it all !
I was a bit skeptical to purchase this Record player, because some of the other reviews were not the best, but Ive been wanting this style player for a long time. I wanted to be able to play Vinyl, CD and Cassettes all in the one system. Plus, I love the old Retro look about it. Reminds me of the big ol stereo system my parents had in the 70s and 80s. Well, Im so happy that I took a chance. It plays beautifully. I havent had any issues with it at all. Each compartment plays great. Ive tried Vinyl, CD, Cassette, and the radio. All work great. And the sound is clear and can be as loud as I want. There is nothing I dislike about this system! Very happy with my purchase. I feel like im a teenager back in 1980s again, listening to my records. So much fun! :)
Bought this in February for my mothers birthday. She was so excited, she had wanted it for awhile. Unfortunately, when we plugged it in it didn't work. :( Had to reorder and even though she had to wait a week for the new one, she's has been very pleased. I however was very disappointed. I still rated this a 5 star because she loves it and has enjoyed it so much. Hopefully it last awhile, I guess we will see.

Works great! Light and easy to move. Colour options could be improved
Functionally it works as advertised. It was dropped on its top corner during shipping crushing the corner of the lid, but cosmetic damage and visible from the rear only. Also, it is incompatible with my older amp, so I must rely on its very weak speakers that sound like an old am/fm radio at best.
Wishing the volume would adjust down to a softer level as it is a bit louder than you would expect it to be at the minimum level. Wish too it had the lever to softly allow the placement of the tone arm to drop. Overall however it is a very capable and complete outfit. Love the included software package that allows for finalizing, etc.
This unit suits my purposes, Okay, but won't do for someone who has a regular sized wall unit to put it in (I wanted mine in the unit, but couldn't ! ) WHY you ask ? Because the cassette player insert is on the right side, at the very back of the unit so no room to insert cassette...it has to be on a free standing table. Also the CD start button has to be pushed about 5 or 6 times before the no. 1 shows up and it starts.. A little annoying, but at least it starts
The unit could not be turned on. The "power" button was loose. I returned the product and was refunded.
