The one we had at home was a fixed lens one and only supports black and white images. So I decided to upgrade the camera. This Victure camera is sooo much better because I can control the camera to turn in any direction using the app. If you have a cat/dog at home, a movable camera is the better choice. The video quality is great with colors. I can also talk to my cat via the camera when I’m out. Ironically, this camera is the same price as my old one lol but it gives me a lot more features. Recommend.
Easy to set up.this is the 6th that i bought . Good price n quality.
Very cute. Good quality and clear install instruction.
great product
This is a great quality camera at a very reasonable price. Cameras I have had in the past used a very wide field of view. I was always disappointed in the distortion of the video from this wide angle. The Victure camera has a narrower field of view for a far superior picture quality. The camera actually moves to track movement in the room. The camera turns left and right on the base. The lens moves up and down. I walked around the room and the camera followed my movement perfectly. I could barely hear a noise as it rotated to keep me in the frame. The app was very easy to use. I was happy to see that I could simply record videos directly onto my phone without having to use the cloud. The two photos attached to this review are screenshots of the app in normal light and darkness. It is very easy to have back and forth communication between the camera and your phone with the app. The best feature is that the camera will alert my phone if it detects any movement or sound. The night vision mode was very clear and it would make this an ideal security camera or baby monitor. I am very happy with this camera. It exceeded my expectations.
The camera itself works great however the description fails to mention the app required, digit cam, only works on older android versions.
I live in a bad neighborhood so, on my budget, I was happy to find this inexpensive camera. The camera is fine, the night-vision isn't great, but it gave me a ton of security knowing I had it. What I didn't realize was how expensive it would be to purchase the cloud subscription so it would record and archive footage in case I needed to see who stole another package off my porch. If you don't pay $80/year per camera (and they have cheaper, less desirable options, too) you have to buy a $15 SD card for each camera and remember to manually start recording it each day; if someone breaks in and takes the camera, they have also taken the footage of who broke in because it was on the SD card. I DO feel the camera just sitting in my window was a deterrent, but a friend told me about her mail box getting vandalized so she asked her neighbor (who has security cameras) across the street if the cameras recorded anything and the neighbor responded that their cameras don't record. Someday, you're going to need that recording. The other thing about this camera is, if using an SD card, you have to unplug the camera and plug it into your computer to search through the archived footage. Again, this is a nice little camera for a deterrent, or to only view "live" events, but instead of one of these, I recommend the Roku indoor smart home cameras that are literally the same price, a significantly better camera (especially the night vision) and you get two cameras automatically recording to the cloud for $80 instead of just one; this way, if someone breaks in and steals your cameras, you still have the footage online you can immediately access through the Roku app on your phone. The Roku camera automatically syncs with your TVs' Roku accounts, so your TV can be turned into a camera monitor with no extra work on your part, and that's incredibly convenient!
everything aboutit auckex! couldn't get it to work at all......waist of money!!!!
Most of your home wifi service doesn't give you an option for 2G anymore
It powers on it swivels around the room 360 it flashes red. And beeps continuously , You’re supposed to connect it through a QR code with your phones camera through their app, and when it turns green it will connect but it’s not doing that. I it’s not reading the QR code no matter what I do, couldn’t get it to connect.
