These boots are absolutely gorgeous. I did not have any issue with the short zipper as mentioned and my feet entered the boots just fine. The heel is very comfortable and does not feel like it is 4 inches. The leather is high quality and the color is beautiful. For reference, I am an average sized woman with narrow feet and I wear an 8.5-9. I wrote this review because I really don't understand the other 2 reviews of this boot. Perhaps their feet are not as narrow or petite as they think because there is not an issue with this boot at all. I was also impressed that the top of the boot had enough room in the calf area. This boot is literally perfection. I plan to buy 2-3 other colors.
I was so so happy to find a size 5 NAVY BLUE!!! finally!!!!!! they are beautiful soft comfortable, the hills is perfect high, I read the reviews, but I give it a chance and I'm happy. I took it to the shoe repair, and I ask them to change the zipper to a long all the way up one. It is worth it!!!!!... Sorry for my English
I am 5'3” 175lb. I have a traditional “Flinstone” foot. My actual foot measurement, barefoot, is an 8W (9-3/8” long,C/D width) and I have pretty full calves (15-3/4” in circumference. I usually order: 8M in open-toe/open-back sandals and flip flops, and anywhere from 8-1/2M - 9 or 9-1/2M in closed toe stillettos, depending on the brand, etc. Due to the reviews stating that the boot ran small, I ordered a 9-1/2M and the entire boot fit great. Even the calf, which stated in the online measurement that the boot shaft had a 14.38” circumference. I have a 15-3/4” circumference calf and it fit all the way up to my knee just fine. It is a dark, rich, midnight blue color and the boot has a snipped pointed toe. It's very fashionable, timeless and stylish. I simply love the boot and may order another color before they sell out in my size. Compliments to Vince Camuto, once again, on some gorgeous footwear!
Bought this on cyber monday, and recieved it 3 days later! anyways, theres a lot of reviews that made me hesitate buying this shoe. they fit well and are very easy for me to put on and take off- no socks. If you want to wear socks go half size up. The heel is sexy, though bit uncomfortable. I took a few photos on the calf to show how it fits me and the measurements if you're curious. Also, I have wide feet, and these are slightly narrow for me.

Love my boots...They fit perfect but the only issue I have Is taking them off....uuuuuugggghhhhh...Just wish the zipper was up the boot..it would make it more easier to put on and take off!
I had such a hard time getting these on AND off. I'm usually a size 9 in all my Vince Camuto shoes. My feet are wide and I have full calves but once I was able to get them on they fit well. Taking them off was another ordeal. Because the material is smooth and straight (no slouch, no give) it made it so hard to take them off. I attribute this to the size of my foot as it isn't narrow. The boot itself, however is simply gorgeous!!! If you have skinny legs and ankles, no need to size up. For those of us with fuller legs and ankles, and medium/wide feet, definitely go up by at least 1/2 size. These are way too beautiful to pass up so though I will be returning the size 9, I am getting them again only this time I'm going to go up 1/2 size in hopes that it will make it easier to get them on and off.
These were the boots I had dreamed of visually. Totally spectacular. However it only has one of partial zippers and it's short. So because of that it didn't open enough for my foot to actually bend into the shoe part. My heel was totally stuck where there was a seam. After 30 minutes of trying to get the shoe on I gave up and I'm returning them. I'm super sad.
I read the reviews and took head. I ordered a half size larger due to the half zip and thought it would work. Sadly, it did not. I normally wear and 8.5-9 but ordered an 9.5 and still could not get the boot on. If this was a full zip it would be fire but ,since it's not, it must go back. Hard to fine a good Navy boot too. I can't rate anything else as I never got the boot on.
As others have stated in their reviews, I was unable to get my foot into this boot. I read the reviews prior to making purchase but figured I'd be able to maneuver my foot into them as last year, I bought two pairs of Vince Kamuto Kervana (Mauve Multi & Red Croc) which are very similar to these and I had no problems getting into either pair. Last year, I also bought their Kashina boots, which doesn't even have a zipper and I'm also able to maneuver those one without a problem. My point is, I believe something is off with the cut of this boot :(
