Love this cheese! It's really creamy and gluten free! It really has a very nice flavor! I would really recommend to give it a try, the only bad thing about it is that it's very pricey but it's totally worth the price! Violife Just Like Cheddar Slices
This is the first time I've tried Violife Just Like Cheddar Slices and it's gonna be a fixture in my going vegan diet! It actually tastes exactly like cheddar cheese. The texture is quite creamy and I can't wait to try it melted! One slice contains 20% of your daily recommended Vitamin B12 so that's awesome! It's yummy and affordable! I definitely recommend it!
This Violife Just Like Cheddar Slices cheese tasted just like cheddar slices! I made burgers today and put the cheese slices and it was very delicious! It was my first time trying vegan cheese! This violife cheddar slices is free from dairy, soy, gluten, lactose, nuts and preservatives! This brand also sell mozzarella shredded cheese and cream cheese! Its very healthy! I would buy it again!
I was really impressed by the flavor of this product. Many non dairy cheeses don't taste anything like cheese, but these do. They melt really well. A little pricey, but would otherwise recommend.
I thought we had a bad batch but it turns out they “improved” the taste… This was our delicious go to brand for Cheddar, but they changed the recipe… Original recipe was 5 stars easy, new recipe… 2.5 stars..
The sliced cheddar recipe was changed and now it smells & tastes weird! The recipe prior was perfect & I'd be able to eat it as is. When I tried the new recipe, I thought the store didn't store it properly and so it tasted and smelled spoiled. It even felt different. Bought it again and it was the same, so I read that it was changed. No need to fix something if it's not broken. Why not just offer multiple options without certain ingredients to cater to a wider range of consumers instead of displeasing the ones you already have?
I so much wanted to find a replacement for cheese since I've had to go dairy free. But sadly this isn't it. It tastes nothing at all like cheddar cheese. And it doesn't melt. Disappointed but I'll keep looking.
I have loved eating this vegan cheese for years and used to eat it every day. it was the perfect snack with crackers. But, sometime in the spring of 2024, the flavor changed! It tastes like rotten cheddar cheese now. I opened the package last month and my boyfriend thought something went bad in the fridge. Change the formula flavor back! 😢
I don't like that this product had mold and I couldn't use it a day after getting it. I took pictures and requested refund for this s but threw it out because it's gross. How could they want me to take it up there to return. That's inconvenient!
(Zero stars) The first time I opened the package this disgustingly strong smell wafted out and I was immediately repulsed it's like they tried way to hard to “simulate” cheddar cheese it smelled like orange crayons. Despite the smell I tried to get passed it and at least taste it, Which I wish I really didn't because just one bite had me spitting up the piece immediately the taste was not subtle and just over powered any texture of creaminess. I was so disappointed they make the cheese look great on the outside but not actually edible had to throw the entire pack out what a waste I'll stick to the other vegan cheese. If you have dull taste buds and no nose then this cheese is perfect for you, Other than that please avoid wasting your money.
