I bought this for my mom to use to clean her dentures. The biggest problem is the size of the cup that you fill with water and put your dentures in. You are not supposed to get water in the actual unit, but the cup is so small, it is very difficult to get both upper and lower dentures in the cup and covered with water without filling to the top of the cup. This makes it very hard to not spill a little water into the unit. It is difficult for me to do with a steady hand, but even harder for an elderly person whose hands shake a little. She also found out that she needs to put a denture cleaning (efferdent, etc) tablet in to get the dentures clean enough. I would suggest making the unit and cup a little larger. With all of this said, it is still better than her trying to use a toothbrush on her dentures.
I bought this product to clean my invisiline braces. I tried many solutions and none worked with this product till I tried a bleach and water solution. Since I was Intrigued with the spectacular results when used with the diluted bleach, I tried the water and bleach without the cleaning machine and it worked just as well, concluding that the machine dosn't work at all.
