Really impressed. Simple to put together but you may need some more vinyl glue than provided. It comes in about 5 parts that all needed to be glued together. Also, requires a 4x4x8 pressure treated post to be installed, which is the most work involved (unless you have to run underground wiring then that would be the most work). I think you probably could get away with a 4x4x6 since you screw the vinyl lamp post into the wood post. Either way, The vinyl post easily slides over it with enough internal space for the wiring. The vinyl is thick and seems like it will weather well. The post light was sold separately but fit perfectly on the 3 inch top opening. I really do like the post and neighbors comment on it's good looks. This one is a winner, very happy with the purchase!

Purchased a Madison post for my backyard near a tidal river.Easy to install, instructions were clear.Liked them so much, bought two more to replace the old wrought iron ones next to my driveway!!!
