I've had my eye on the Vitamix for years, and wish I had taken the leap sooner! It's a daily essential in my kitchen. I make a batch of fresh green juice every morning (spinach, ginger, green apple, lemon). Other favorites include cashew dressing to top roasted veggies (soaked raw cashews, lemon, Himalayan salt) or creamy squash soup (roasted squash, coconut milk, spices). It's a must have for plant-based meals.
Used several times already to make smoothies and cashew cheese sauce. They both have come out creamy. This blender is so simple and easy to use. It doesn't have the bells and whistles, but it is very powerful. I would purchase again.
Absolute beast of a blender! Smoothies have ZERO chunks and I love how easy it is to use and clean. Perfect size for 2 people.
Blends perfectly within a few minutes . I currently run a Herbalife satellite club. Majes the best meal replacement shakes ever and easy to clean!
I bought my Vitamix about a month ago after debating it for several years. I'm a fairly cheap person and just can't stomach paying extra for things so I've been getting decent blenders that weren't as expensive. They did fine for some things but weren't able to do many things I wanted (make my own nut butter, etc). My other blenders were just very limited on what they could do. My wife and I had a baby this year and I used being able to make my baby healthy, no additives or preservative baby food my excuse to get a Vitamix. Boy am I glad I did! My first smoothie was an eye opener. I couldn't believe what I'd been putting up with all these years (see pictures). Previously I had to brush my teeth and rinse my mouth after my smoothies just to get all the bits and pieces and fruit skins out of my teeth but the Vitamix blended my morning smoothie up into a completely uniform liquid. It was amazing! I can also make my own nut butter now in under a minute. I can grind my own almond flour also. And the thing is I feel like I've just scratched the surface on what all this Vitamix can do. If you're like me and can hardly stand the thought of spending extra money, I'm telling you this is worth it. It's completely changed my morning routine and several other things I used to spend extra time with in the kitchen. I cannot wait to see what else this Vitamix is capable of!
So relieved that I made this purchase! I use it at least once a day for mostly smoothies. I've tried a couple hot soups as well. The blades expertly break up ingredients as long as the blender is dialed up to the high speeds for at least 30 seconds. One soup recipe I made cause the blender to shut off before the soup was overheated. That's been my only negative experience so far. I absolutely love how it's so easy to clean! The first time I used it, I was overjoyed to fit my entire smoothie recipe in one blender container. My ninja personal cups weren't cutting it anymore for my superfood smoothies
I bought my blender 6 weeks ago & I am just delighted with the way it performs. I bought it to replace my Vitamix 5000 which I purchased in 2006 & was still working till I dropped on my cement floor. I use it for smoothies every day & gazpacho & cold soups. Thanks Vitamix
This is the less expensive model and the only model that comes with 48.oz jar. I like the size of jar. It's perfect for 2 people (sometimes 3) The jar is light and short that is easy to clean. Two hp is enough for this machine. According to my research some models come in 2.2hp ( the power is not noticeable) or they come with 7 or 10 years warranty. (E310 has 5 years) but they are $100-$150 more expensive and it's not worth it for me. The only model that is really different with E310 is commercial series Vita-Prep® 3. (My friend has one and it's extremely powerful with 3hp.)
First let me say I spent months viewing every blender on the site and many of its reviews. Then one day the classic blender dropped in price. It was finally affordable. I thought but it I just stretch by another 100.00 and wait I can get a better one. Finally here is what I concluded: All of these blenders are better than what you have right now! They all perform with horsepower! They all will achieve something you never have before and that is silky smooth! Short version: I bought the classic blender and now I'm a God haha.
Having the right tools when changing dietary habits is crucial and having my Vitamix makes it easy! I can substitute high fat ice cream for frozen fruit and have endless options without the guilt or calories! My order took a while to ship, but other than that, I am pleased.
