After reading reviews of how the TV arrived for many I was scared to buy this refurbished one. But I gave it a try. It did come in a regular box and not a very good packing material. But I can say that I was lucky that the TV was in good condition. Everything woks well and the picture quality is also very good. The Smart TV also functions nicely. Nice sound. If you connect to an external speakers you can hear some sound lag. The TV does have some setup to overcome that. But the TV volume was good enough for me.
I purchased this 55" television refurbished and I regret nothing about it. I was searching for the perfect new tv for weeks. I was actually going to purchase a 60" Sharp from HHgregg and I am soo greatful I didnt. It would have costed me more than $1500 including the service protection if I would have went with that tv. I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw this 55" SMART TV for under $600 dollars and the protection was only $160 if im not mistaking! The picture quality is amazing! I just moved so my cable and internet has yet to be installed but my fiance and I played a few blue ray movies and they look amazing. Even the regular movies look extremely high quality on this tv. My only complaint about purchasing the tv is the fact that I did the "Ship to Store option" and I received the tv in a damaged box that was extremely too big and very little to no protective packaging. The box was upside down and the base that the tv sits on is destroyed. It looks as though it could have been shipped that way. Luckily we planned to mount the tv from the beginning, but its unfortunate that they took no care at all packaging and shippibg this item, refurbished or not! I must say, the tv made up for that disaster! I would definitely recommend everyone to but it.
Upon unboxing the television, all the parts (stand, bracket, remote, etc) were left unwrapped and had moved around in the box. The bottom half of the tv was covered in deep scratches and punctures from coming into contact with all the parts. I immediately returned this product to the store and bought the same model new. This will be my last electronics purchase sent via site to store.
Very poor packaging coming from manufacturer, so the product was in pieces went I took it out the box,
I bought a refurbished TV and it arrived in a box that was not secure and badley crumpled. There was very little protection inside, therefore the TV was bouncing from handling. When I turned it on it was obvious to me no one checked the TV before boxing. It had a line of LED missing right smack in the middle of the TV.
