I have dealt with refurbished electronics quite a bit in the computer field. Generally there are few problems and when there are, they are usually handled by the various companies quickly and in a satisfactory manner. I use this strictly as a computer monitor and am finding it to be exactly what I was looking for at the time. The first one that arrived was dropped on its side by the FedEx delivery guy and had total pixel drop in a six inch swath from top to bottom on the right hand side of the screen. Not something readily noticeable if watching TV but very clear as a monitor. Walmart had a no hassle return, just printed the email took it to the store and they refunded my purchase price no trouble at all. The second one came and I was out the door to help unload it from the truck. The sound is "ok" for a tv but not great by any means also the neck of the tv that connect to the stock table stand seems a little weak and the tv will wobble A LOT if bumped. Other than that everything is beyond what I could expect at this price. A Great value.
this is our 4th refurb TV from Walmart and it is impressive. no problems and is very good as far as picture quality. this TV rocks with the vizio soundbar and subwoofer. killer theater like sound to go along with the HD picture.
While we have only had our tv for a week, we've abandoned all the other tvs in our house for this one. The picture is great and the features are amazing. I would definitely recommend this tv to others. Having bought it refurbished only made our deal that much better. We got a great tv at an extremely good price!
The tv arrived on time. Beautiful and big.A little hard to set up , but once we got it going seems good. One concern is the volume seems to be fading in and out. So not sure if I will be bringing it back or not. Will need two people to carry it back in , so not sure if it bugs me that bad. After all I got it refurbished for a hundred dollars less than in the store. But refurbished I thought would be good as new. Won't buy refurbished again.
The only problem I have found is when I tried to put the base on, one of the three screws would not go in. the threads was bad in the TV's side.
The Visio was delivered in two days. It was packaged in new condition. The television was at lease $100.00 cheaper than the same Visio in the store. This TV comes with Netflix, Amazon & M-GO whatever that is, built into the remote. On the other side of the remote is a computer type key board. This Visio is ready to access your internet via your wireless connection. Who knew new televisions could be all this.
this is my third vizio this month, first two were shipped site to store. the third was shipped to my house. and like the other two it doesn't work. lol. ty for vizio agreeing to send and mount the next replacement for me
Had the TV for less than a year and a half. The TV is now defective and shuts itself off while viewing. All auto-off settings are disabled. I have contacted Vizio and they were no help. They told me to reset the TV by holding the power button on the back, and said that this is all the help they can give as the TV is over a year old. It's now a worthless piece of junk that works for 5-10 min. at time. This issue began a few months ago, but it was not a problem as it took several hours before it shut off. Now it has rendered the TV unusable. I have tried resetting multiple times, resetting TV settings, using different inputs. Nothing helps, the TV is defective, and Vizio does not support it. Also the fiber optic audio input is not seated well on the board as attempting to remove the cable from the TV ripped the fixture right off the circuit board. Without excessive force. I'm extremely disappointed with Vizio, and the unbelievably poor quality of this TV. The picture is great, but it will not last. Vizio will not help.
The TV was a week late getting here but Walmart made it up to me. After mounting it to the wall it lasted a day before one third of the picture went out. I took it to my local store and came home with a new TV not a refurbished. Walmart took great care of me after the sale and after being a week late and then not working I am very pleased with Walmart.
Had delivered and screen not working out of the box. Had to get back to a local store for a refund, return shipping is too much if a hassle. Had to buy another brand elsewhere.
