The price was appealing & my birthday was approaching so I bit the hook. As is generally the case with DELL purchased items, the VIZIO 19" TV product arrived in very short order. Since I have now reached, at 75, the level of total inability to install any electronic device requiring more than plugging into a 120v outlet; i deferred to my 19 year old grandson who opened the carton, removed the parts & had the set in operating condition within 30 minutes. The set is ideal for our bedroom & has very simple, uncomplicated controls. Very crisp picture pleases my wife &, thus, pleases me. Thanks Dell!
After much research, I purchased this tv for my mom, who is in a nursing home due to dementia. The remote is easy enough for her to use. The colors are vibrant and the sound has good quality. With the control buttons placed on the side of the set instead of on the front, they are not an easy target for inquisitive fingers. Mom loves it and so does everyone else! My aunt even went out and purchased one for herself!!
Fits perfect in the RV cabinet and pulls right out on the extender bracket (wall mount). Beautiful picture on the old RV antenna. The cheapest way to go from an analog tv to digital. No converter box needed. Will have to run it on a 12volt to 120volt converter when camping out in the wild.
I have had this tv for a couple months now & I love it. The picture is great & the volume controls are very good also. Seems to have a little lag time when turning on, but it doesn't really bug me, other than that it's awesome. Even better, I had previously bought a computer from Dell & therefore got a $100 gift certificate which I used towards this tv! Buy it, you will love it!
I read others' reviews before buying this product and saw that there had been several complaints about the tinny sound. I solved the problem by changing the sound setting to surround sound. It's not perfect -- but it could definitely be solved by hooking up a pair of external speakers. Otherwise, I think the product is a great buy for the price.
My family got this tv for the kitchen to replace an older one that took up a lot of space. This one mounts nicely under a cabinet and looks great. The picture quality is better than expected, even with basic cable. It took all of 2 minutes to set up (maybe half an hour to mount it) The only complaint I would have is the sound quality. I didn't think it was THAT bad but other people in the family were complaining but you can always get new speakers. Great product and a great price! Watch out for fingerprints. It comes with a cloth, but it doesn't do much.
I was very pleased when this came to my door after only 3 days after I ordered it. It was packaged very well, in its' original carton, with no dents or scraping. It was very easy to hook-up to my existing cable service, ready right out of the box, and simplified by the lightness of TV. When I turned it on, and set it up, I was amazed at the picture quality there was. Also, the sound was very good. However, on closer investigation, this Vizio has many settings in which you can "set" the quality of your own picture to your own liking! I chose the "vivid" setting which gives it a really true picture quality. It also has many other settings, like parental control, very easy settings for color selection, much more! I am more than pleased with this purchase!
I purchased them for my two grandkids.They and my daughter said they're a great t.v.Good picture,and sound quality.also a perfect size for their rooms.My daughter likes them so much,they're thinking of getting a vizio for the family room(larger model of course).
This is a very good tv for the money. I had it shipped to my home at no cost and it arrived by Fed Ex in 4 days. We were very pleased. Easy to set up and perfect size for a bedroom or kitchen. This is our second Vizio and we have had our other one for 2 years and no problems.
We have had this TV for a few weeks now. Great picture, the only thing I am not crazy about is the outside frame. It gives off a glare would be much better if it were a smaller outside frame. Other than that we are very pleased and for the price hard to beat.
